There is no way to completely describe how transcending Mia Sheridan’s writing is. I went into this book blind. I didn’t read the blurb and just wanted to read something that I knew would be an uplifting romance. This is her first standalone not in her signs of love series and Wow. This book is everything Mia excels at but at extraordinary levels.

Most of All You is a story of two broken people where life has thrown them into hard obstacles again and again. Crystal is one of my favorite heroines. She’s unsure of herself, her self-esteem is at a low and she’s taking life as it comes. She’s not one to plan for things as life hasn’t been too nice to her for her to look at a future. When she meets Gabriel, it’s the catalyst for a great turn in her life. But he was just the catalyst. Crystal learns about herself as she journeys into a new life with him. She sometimes also learns without him in order to gain confidence about herself. This story is about fixing yourself and I appreciated that Crystal needed Gabriel as a partner but was finally able to drag herself out from the darkness.

Gabriel is one of Mia Sheridan’s sweetest heroes. If you’re a fan of Archer, beware, Gabriel may just throw him off your pedestal. Gabriel seems like he has it all together but he’s lived a life filled with horrifying experiences. And he gathered himself up, with help, and strides forward. His positivity and his steadfastness draws you in as he is a solid character that seems to figuratively hold up all the other characters. Despite what life has handed him, he’s made fountains of lemonade out of those bad lemons.

“We fit so perfectly, don’t we?” he murmured, and a rush of arousal raced through my blood at his words. He kissed down my neck, feathering his lips over my skin, and I felt something in him that I hadn’t felt before. He was holding nothing back this time. There was no reservation in his touch, no doubt in his kiss. I had offered myself to him, and he meant to give all of himself as well.

Gabriel and Crystal’s connection is a slow build of trust and love. There’s romance in their little everyday occurrences that win them over rather than grand overtures. Their love is unique and is a work in progress. It’s a realistic enduring look into the hardships of relationships. Their love is tangible and even though it’s not easy, it’s felt in every single look and interaction they have.

Mia Sheridan writes palpable romance stories that leap off the pages. She isn’t afraid to cover the sufferings. She highlights them in a way that pulls you into their angst and makes you reach in and want to support them along the way. Most of All You is yet another wonderfully written book by her and should be a must for all fans of intense, spellbinding love stories.
