We at Heroes and Heartbreakers are so proud of and thankful for this wonderful community. Thank you for always adding a little extra sparkle to our week. In honor of Fan Friday, we want to give a special shoutout to a few of our favorite comments, and the readers behind them. We love your work!

AnnaBowling has a bit of angst with a book hangover

AnnaBowling in How Do You Recover from a Book Hangover?

In some cases, you don't. There's a certain pleasure in wallowing in the emptiness, and living in the memories of the book just finished. Sometimes, a book has such an impact that only time will cure the hangover, and nothing else will do. In time, another book will slip into that space, and the whole cycle can begin over again.

Apart from that, bingeing on the author's other works, or finding books that have a similar element to the hangover book - type of character, setting, or trope, for example. Trying something completely different also works. When I'm wallowing in the wake of a great historical, I usually reach for realistic YA.

DL Jones likes the little things

DL Jones in Let’s Discuss Mine Till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas!

Yay....what a great book pick! This is my favorite Hathaway book. I admired Amelia's tireless support of her siblings, but thank goodness Cam swooped in to shake things up. Those kids would suck her soul dry, in a very loving way, if there wasn't someone there to protect Amelia from herself.

My favorite moments are the small ones....Cam snagging her bonnet ribbon or when he'd gently still her agitated foot tapping and call her Hummingbird...swoon. Oh.....or when she can't get his ring off her finger. His method of removing it....swoon X 2.

And Amelia is the strong woman Cam needed to finally be comfortable with staying in one place, being part of a family. Ok, with the Hathaways he got a family in the Costco size package, but he seemed to thrive when he was right in the middle of their chaos.

I also like this series because we're still seeing glimpses of our beloved Wallflowers. Sigh.....I love those ladies!

TineW was delighted

I finished this book late last night and siiiiggggghhhh I LOVE IT!! It's funny, it's witty (certain conversations were a tad modern for the times but not offensive) and all round charming. I adore the banter between Ash and Emma. Can't wait for the rest of the books in the new series. <3
