March | April | May | Printable Version

Even the most avid romance fan has trouble keeping track of all the amazing content released throughout the year. We’ve compiled a must list of some of our most anticipated books, movies, and television shows for March 2015 through May 2015.

What are your most anticipated romance of the season?

March

Dark Debt by Chloe Neill (book)
We hear the eleventh Chicagoland Vampires novel features fresh challenges, plenty of action, and a strong-as-ever Ethan/Merit relationship. Sold!

Mad, Bad, and Dangerous in Plaid by Suzanne Enoch (book)
It’s tough to get over your childhood crush—even harder when that childhood crush finally opens his eyes and realizes he’s in love with you. That’s exactly what Rowena faces in the latest from Enoch!

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (television)
Tina Fey’s first post-30 Rock series stars Ellie Kemper as a woman adjusting to freedom after life in a cult. Did we mention it’s a Tina Fey series?

Last One Home by Debbie Macomber (book)
One night drove three sisters apart, and now one letter might be able to bring them back together. Let Macomber’s latest help tide you over until Cedar Cove Season 3.

Cinderella (film)
A new take on the beloved tale, Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden as Prince Charming, and a pretty well guaranteed Happily Ever After. We’re a lock to see this one.

The Royals (television)
Calling all unabashed Royal watchers! From the promos alone, we know The Royals is a racy soap inspired by Britain’s House of Windsor, and, well—how could we not?

Chase Me by Tessa Bailey (book)
If all singing telegrams ended the way this one did, we might consider switching occupations. Quirky girl meets straight-laced guy in the first Broke and Beautiful book.

Riding Steele by Opal Carew (book)
If you didn’t grab this book in its serialized form, now’s your chance to read the sexy story all at once! We’re ready to ride, are you?

iZombie (television)
Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas has great credit with us after reuniting Veronica and Logan on the big screen, so we’re eager to see his latest effort, which looks to offer many (undead) shipping possibilities.

Insurgent (film)
The faction system is slowly falling apart in this sequel to last year’s Divergent, but who cares about that when we get to see Four and Tris kiss!

Bloodline (television)
Plot, what plot? We’re here for Kyle Chandler of Friday Night Lights fame. Coach!

The Shadows by J.R. Ward (book)
Brothers, secrets, and destiny all play a part in the thirteenth Black Dagger Brotherhood book!

Love After All by Jaci Burton (book)
Brainy Chelsea has a checklist for her perfect man, and while bar owner Sebastian doesn’t meet any of those requirements, he might be just what she needs.

Deep by Kylie Scott (book)
The final book in the Stage Dive series sends us off with one of our favorite tropes in the genre—Best Friend’s Little Sister. An added twist: she’s pregnant! Let love, rock-'n'-roll-style, begin!

Four Nights with the Duke by Eloisa James (book)
The eighth novel in the Desperate Duchesses series promises an “audacious proposal” (from Mia) and a “devil’s bargain” (from Vander). Needless to say, we need it now.

Instinct by Sherrilyn Kenyon (book)
The Chronicles of Nick only get more intense as our hero, who has only just come to terms with his fate, now must “learn to defy his destiny, and the dark, deadly forces” closing in on him...

Force of Attraction by D.D. Ayres (book)
A protective K-9 partner named Hugo, a pretending-to-be-married undercover assignment, sex with the ex, imminent danger...what more could we ask?!

The Unleashing by Shelly Laurenston (book)
First in a brand-new series, Call of Crows, The Unleashing pairs up a veteran soldier heroine and a Viking blacksmith hero to save the world, or at least L.A. Sounds hot.

The Virgin by Tiffany Reisz (book)
The compelling Original Sinners series continues the story of Kingsley, Eleanor, and Søren, and introduces Juliette, “the one woman who could save Kingsley from his sorrows.” Hmm...

April

Odyssey (television)
Described as Traffic meets Homeland, this political thriller stars Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies) as a stranded female soldier. Another kickass heroine on TV seems worth checking out...

Silver Bastard by Joanna Wylde (book)
In Team H&H’s Best of 2014 list, Megan Frampton said Joanna Wylde writes motorcycle romances the way they’re meant to be written. With the publication of Silver Bastard, Wylde takes us to a new MC in the same crazy world, and we can’t wait for the wild ride.

Still the One by Jill Shalvis (book)
Wounded by love and each other in the past, Darcy and AJ don’t want to be anywhere near the other—until they have to fake a relationship!

Say My Name by J. Kenner (book)
Missing the Stark series? J. Kenner is back with a spinoff series, Stark International. Get ready to know Jackson Steele, a man who always gets what he wants, and Sylvia Brooks, the woman not willing to give it to him.

The Tempting of Thomas Carrick by Stephanie Laurens (book)
You had us at “Cynster second-generation novel,” though “a neo-Gothic tale...set in the uplands of southwestern Scotland” doesn’t hurt.

Daredevil (television)
We’re always in the market for more well-done superhero shows, which means our hopes are high for what looks to be a dark, gritty Daredevil adaptation. (Fingers crossed Elektra pops up.)

The Longest Ride (film)
This one has us hustling to the theaters for two reasons: Nicholas Sparks adaptation and, more importantly, sexy Scott Eastwood (Clint Eastwood’s son) as a cowboy.

Beautiful Secret by Christina Lauren (book)
Christina Lauren took a break from the Beautiful series to write Wild Seasons, but now we’re back with this full-length book and it features an uptight Brit in need of some loosening up and an American who will fit the bill!

The Age of Adaline (film)
Immortality’s not all its cracked up to be in this story of a mysterious young woman (Blake Lively) who never ages, while the loves of her life, well...do. Is there an HEA out there for her?

Sinful by Joan Johnston (book)
Dealing with the aftermath of a loved one’s death is tough enough, but Connor also has to deal with his in-laws attempts to take away his children. What he needs is a fake wife, and luckily, he knows just the woman to do the job.

Promise Canyon by Robyn Carr (book)
We have a case of pride and prejudice on our hands, but we have a feeling Clay and Lilly will find a way around it.

A Lover’s Vow (The Grangers) by Brenda Jackson (book)
If the fact that this is a Brenda Jackson novel and the gorgeous cover didn’t already pull you in, maybe this will: What else does a hugely successful business mogul need? A woman to stand up to him, of course!

Back on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber (book)
There’s a new shop on Blossom street and that means a new chance for romance!

May

Midnight’s Kiss by Thea Harrison (book)
The more powerful you become the more powerful your enemies, and that’s exactly what Melly finds out in Midnight’s Kiss—but will her ex-lover still come to save her?

Grave Phantoms by Jenn Bennett (book)
Love the roaring '20s? Look no further than Bennett’s paranormal historical trilogy. Grave Phantoms gives us the final story in the Roaring '20s series, and reminds us that while we hate to see it go, we love to watch it leave.

Make You Mine by Jackie Ashenden (book)
Undercover lover? Former spy turned bodyguard must pretend to be her client’s lover in order to keep him safe. This might be our favorite kind of mission!

Last Kiss by Jessica Clare and Jen Frederick (book)
Vasily is torn between his loyalty to the Bratva and his growing feelings towards Naomi in the third Hitman book.

All Played Out by Cora Carmack (book)
There is a beautiful trope in romance where the sheltered /bluestocking /wallflower-type heroine makes a to-do list, it usually has some sort of sexcapade on it. Enter the hero.

Born of Defiance by Sherrilyn Kenyon (book)
The next installment of the League series centers on Outcast Talyn Batur, who must decide where he stands in a battle for the future of his homeworld...

Under the Lights by Shannon Stacey (book)
Stacey’s Kowalski family stole our hearts, and we expect no less of the Boys of Fall, former high school football stars looking to tackle (sorry) life and love.

Rules of the Game by Lori Wilde (book)
Jodi Carlyle chooses to ring in the big 3-0 by crashing a wedding and having a fling. Luckily, she meets a sexy baseball player there who’s the perfect candidate...until he shows up as the best man at her sister’s wedding!
