If a Bad Girl Goes to a New Year’s Eve Party

Today we have a special treat—author Codi Gary, whose Return of the Bad Girl was released yesterday, is here with a delightful New Year's Eve poem lauding the bad girl and the distinct way she finds herself to an HEA. Thanks, Codi!

If a bad girl goes to a New Year’s Eve Party,
Then she’s going to need a new dress,
Black and slinky or fun and flirty,
She always wants to impress.
If a bad girl goes to a New Year’s Eve party,
Then she’ll head over to the beauty shop,
Sexy hair, face and nails are what she’s after,
The perfect look to make their jaws drop.
If a bad girl goes to a New Year’s Eve party,
It will take her forever to get dressed,
It doesn’t matter how many time you tell her to hurry,
Nothing makes that girl stressed.
If a bad girl goes to a New Year’s Eve party,
She’ll be the last person through the door,
And after a drink or two, she’ll drag you along,
To shake your hips on the dance floor.
If a bad girl goes to a New Year’s Eve party,
She’s going to make eyes at some guy,
And when he approaches her and asks her to dance,
You know you’re on your own for the night.
If a bad girl goes to a New Year’s Eve party,
She’s going to go back to his place,
And after a night of passion she’ll pick up her dress,
And sneak out before he awakes.
But that isn’t the end for our bad girl,
Because on Monday morning she’ll find,
The high powered CEO she’s supposed to meet with,
It the hot guy she shagged New Year’s Night.
And despite all the drama that follows,
You know that they’ll end up together,
Because some of the best romances start out this way,
And end with a Happily Ever After.
