First Trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey!: Does it Satisfy?

This morning the first ever trailer for the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey movie, starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, was released. Set to a dark remix of Beyonce's Crazy in Love, the trailer gives us a little hint of everything—including the Red Room of Pain!  The trailer seemed focused far more on the romance between Christian and Ana than on the sex, but based on the trailer, we think there will be plenty of both! Now we can all see it, and weigh in with our thoughts.

So—what do you think the movie will be like, based on this trailer? Are you pleased or disappointed? (Also, Lost Girl fans, did you spot Tamsin?)

Mr. Grey will see you on February 13, 2015—just in time to be your Valentine's Day date!

I cannot believe I am the first to comment. I have watched the trailer at least a dozen times now. Originally I wasn't sure about the book being made into a movie but if the movie is as good as the trailer.....oh my. I loved the emails/texts between Ana and Grey. It seemed to be the best way they communicated. Wonder how they could portray that on film and will they be true to the end of the book leaving it open for the sequel or will they make up an HEA.

ylonsda, I heard that there are going to be three films, so it's likely they're going to leave it open and stay true to the books.

I loved the Beyonce remix of Crazy in Love. Can't wait to download it.
The colors in the trailer look amazing.

I was dead set against a movie for these books because it's hard to get the details from book to movie. Especially the erotic details. After seeing this trailer I am still skeptical, the romance seems to be there but I loved the books because of the romance and the erotic sex. I will wait till the first reviews come out about the movie, but as of right now I will stick to the books.

Not sure anything can compete with the visuals in my head from reading these books, but um....that last second of that clip. Yep, maybe that. I fell in love with reading through these books and its been a whirlwind since. Even if the movie isn't great, the idea that it was attempted in this society alone, makes me want to see it as may times as I've read it, and let's just say, that's a big number. Kudos!
