Cover Alert: J.R. Ward’s The Shadows!

The Shadows by J.R. WardJ.R. Ward loves the Fourth of July, and what better way to celebrate the holiday than with a cover reveal! As we found out back in April, The Shadows will feature brothers iAm and Trez, along with the return of Murhder. However, the cover copy for the  book reveals that at least one of the brothers will be finding happiness. Or maybe not...

Two brothers bound by more than blood fight to change a brutal destiny in the heart-wrenching new novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood by #1 New York Times bestselling author J. R. Ward.

Trez “Latimer” doesn’t really exist. And not just because the identity was created so that a Shadow could function in the underbelly of the human world. Sold by his parents to the Queen of the S’Hsibe as a child, Trez escaped the Territory and has been a pimp and an enforcer in Caldwell, NY for years- all the while on the run from a destiny of sexual servitude. He’s never had anyone he could totally rely on... except for his brother, iAm.

iAm’s sole goal has always been to keep his brother from self-destructing- and he knows he’s failed. It’s not until the Chosen Serena enters Trez’s life that the male begins to turn things around... but by then it’s too late.

Visit J.R. Ward's Facebook page for the full book description, and let us know your theories and speculation about The Shadows (available April 7, 2015).

Hmmm seems too much like the Fallen Angel's covers. I like the other strong character images better.

It seems very generic to me...there is nothing to attract my eyes in bunch of other books in the same genre....

Who is that on the cover? Because it can't be one of the Shadows....

I thought the shadows are supposed to be darker skinned?
