Bradley Cooper as Indiana Jones?

Will Indiana Jones be the same if he's not played by Harrison Ford?

Our Twitter feed lit up when we posted a rumor that Bradley Cooper was being considered as a replacement for Ford in a rebooted version of the Indiana Jones movies. Some commenters refused to allow anyone but Ford to play Indy, while others thought Cooper could bring the right blend of good looks, swagger, and smartass to the part.

What do you think? Thumbs up or down for Cooper replacing Ford as Indy?

So today those rumors are being denied, but I think he would make a suitable replacement:

Oh, and now the resparked Twitter convo is about whether Daniel Craig is actually a good James Bond (SPOILER: I TOTALLY think so!). To wit:

I'm surprised I'm saying this, hating change and all, but I think Bradley could do it. Those last Indy moves were kinda bad. He'd be a fun update and I'd like to see those eyes all lit up against a desert tan anyways.

@kwanawrites -- Excellent point about the eyes, ha ha ha.

I haven't always been sold on BCooper (he won me over with Silver Linings Playbook), but for some reason I quite like this rumor.

He had the right mix of humor and action hero in The A-Team, so I think it would be a great casting decision. If they wanted to go even younger, I think Chris Pine would be fantastic too.

I think Indiana Jones would be a hard role to take over since thoughts of Harrison Ford go hand and hand with Indiana Jones, but I could see Bradley Cooper putting on the fedora and stepping into the character.
