One Good Girl...

After her sister snags a hot Oklahoma cowboy, Emma Hart figures it’s her turn to saddle up. And with two country boys pursuing her at once, she’s in for a wild ride...

Two Sexy Guys...

Lieutenant Colonel Logan Hunt can’t deny the heat between him and Emma is fierce. But Logan isn’t looking for anything serious...just a chance to blow off some steam. So why is he crazy jealous when he sees pro bull rider Jace Mills trying to charm Emma into bed?

Winner Takes All...

Logan knows he and Emma could have something special—and not just because she’s smokin’ hot. Now he has to find a way to prove that even a no-strings-attached guy like him can stick around for the long haul…

Cat Johnson knows her way around a sexy cowboy tale. Her men are chivalrous, adventurous and damn hot. Her women are independent, intelligent and just the right amount of persistent. Her second installment in the Oklahoma Nights series brings back many of the characters from One Night With a Cowboy. You do not have to read the first book to pick up the storyline. Johnson provides just enough background to catch the reader up to speed without slowing down the storyline. I enjoyed this book so much that I just had to buy One Night With a Cowboy. It was that much fun. And, the cover. Well, that just speaks for itself.

Thirty-something New York career woman Emma Hart returns to the scene of the crime, her almost hook up with Jace Mills. She’s back in Oklahoma to attend her sister Becca’s wedding and hopefully finish what she started ten months ago. Jace is more than obliging and picks right back up where he left off—fun, flirty and full of himself. Too bad he’s full of his ex-girlfriend as well. Emma was hoping that lighting would strike twice in Oklahoma and she too, would find her true love.

Luckily for Emma, the oh so available, Lieutenant Colonel Logan Hunt happens to be a groomsman. As a career army officer Logan is the antithesis of Jace—settled, dependable and not hung up on his ex-girlfriend. His attraction to Emma is immediate as his hormones kick into overdrive at just the sight of her. Maybe the perfectly content bachelor isn’t so content after all.

While Jace and Tuck continued to banter – something about which bull Jace drew last time he rode - motion out in the driveway caught Logan’s eye. He turned to watch through the window. A hot-as-hell woman in a short, black dress reached one long let out of the car and stepped from behind the open passenger door. Even doing nothing but standing in the driveway, she was sexy enough to make a man take notice. Her blond hair and family resemblance told him this must be Becca’s sister, Emma.

Logan glanced at Tuck and wondered how bad a friend he was that Tuck’s soon- to-be sister-in-law was giving him a hard-on. Just from thinking about how the curves that dress accentuated so nicely would feel beneath his touch.

Imagine if he ever got his hands on her …

Logan gets his chance when Jace, in his typical fashion, skips out on Emma at the wedding reception. Always the gentleman, Logan steps in and takes over as her date. Their flirtation leads the pair to the realization that they have a mutual attraction. One that Emma most definitely wants to explore. She is, after all, a grown woman who definitely knows what she wants and at that moment it wasn’t Jace. Logan was all hers for the night and more than willing to give her what she wanted. He was determined to show her what it was to be with a man who wanted only her.

“So, are you done worrying about treating me like a china doll?” Emma asked.

He eyed her bruise again and thought about pounding into her on the dresser. “I haven’t treated you like that at all, but yes, I’ll try to stop worrying about it, if you want.”

“Good, now give me some more to remember you by during those lonely nights in New York when I have nothing but my vibrator for company. I want some really good memories.”

A vibrator. Jeez. With that erotic image of Emma firmly planted in his mind, Logan leaned back and ran shaky hands down her body. He formulated a plan of where to begin.

“How good are we talking about here?” Logan asked.

It would be his pleasure to give her enough memories to last a very long time. But good was a relative term when it came to sex. There was sex that was kind of run of the mill but still made you feel good. Then there was sex that had you thinking holy crap, did we really just do that? Logan figured he should probably keep things somewhere in the middle of the two extremes.

“So good I’ll never be able to tell another living soul about it, and I’m not the shy type.”

Although things didn’t go as planned for Emma, ending up with Logan was a much better match. Sexual chemistry aside, Emma connects with Logan on a level she never could with the immature Jace. He was everything she was hoping to find in a partner; the only complication is that he lives a thousand miles away. Once back in New York Emma is realizes that she is miserable without him and they belong together. Now all she needs to do is convince Logan.
