Some Girls Bite by Chloe NeillSome Girls Bite by Chloe Neill

Sure, the life of a graduate student wasn't exactly glamorous, but it was Merit's. She was doing fine until a rogue vampire attacked her. But he only got a sip before he was scared away by another bloodsucker-and this one decided the best way to save her life was to make her the walking undead.

Sullivan. Of course, as a tall, green-eyed, four-hundred- year-old vampire, he has centuries? worth of charm, but unfortunately he expects her gratitude? and servitude. But an inconvenient sunlight allergy and Ethan's attitude are the least of her concerns. Someone's still out to get her. Her initiation into Chicago's nightlife may be the first skirmish in a war-and there will be blood.

Touch the Dark by Karen ChanceTouch the Dark by Karen Chance

Cassandra Palmer can see the future and communicate with spirits—talents that make her attractive to the dead and the undead. The ghosts of the dead aren’t usually dangerous; they just like to talk…a lot.

Like any sensible girl, Cassie tries to avoid vampires. But when the bloodsucking mafioso she escaped three years ago finds Cassie again with vengeance on his mind, she’s forced to turn to the vampire Senate for protection.

The undead senators won’t help her for nothing, and Cassie finds herself working with one of their most powerful members, a dangerously seductive master vampire—and the price he demands may be more than Cassie is willing to pay....

Magic to the Bone by Devon MonkMagic to the Bone by Devon Monk

Devon Monk is casting a spell on the fantasy world...

Using magic means it uses you back, and every spell exacts a price from its user. But some people get out of it by Offloading the cost of magic onto an innocent. Then it’s Allison Beckstrom’s job to identify the spell-caster. Allie would rather live a hand-to-mouth existence than accept the family fortune—and the strings that come with it. He and his half-brother Niko have managed to stay a step ahead for three years, but now Cal’s dad has found them again. And Cal is about to learn why they want him, why they’ve always wanted him…for he is the key to unleashing their hell on earth. The fate of the human world will be decided in the fight of Cal’s life…

I would love the ability to read someone's mind and have a telepathic conversation with others.
Amy A
2. antonidis
Hmmmm, magic power...I like telekinesis. It seems to come in handy a lot!
Melissa B
3. Melissa B
Probably Charley Davidson's from Darynda's Grave series ~~ seems weird, I know, but she can see and communicate with the dead, she can heal from most anything, she has REYES, hello!!, and she get's to feel the emotions of those who pass through her. For some reason, I just think that would be the coolest.
Melissa B
4. Tashraven
Seeing the dead and reading minds would be great, but I rather have supernatural healing abilities along with supernatural strength. With these abilities, I would keep coming back until the enemy was dead.
Hell Cat
5. hellcat
Well, part of me just wants to be Prue Halliwell with the benefit of her awesome powers....but in a book, I'd wanna be someone like Cynna from Wilks' Lupi series. As a Finder, so much good could be used in finding lost people and friends. Or Lily's immunity in a world full of brimming, newly emerged magic. I wouldn't want to be talk to the dead (sorry Jaime and Chloe, Armstrong). I'm scared of them after living in a haunted house. Telekinesis would be great, but again, only if I can be Prue.

I love Cassie, Chance's, but I wouldn't want to be forced into impossible situation to use it. Side note, I just started Skinwalker yesterday. I bought it at Dragon*Con and needed a book quickly.
Kimberley Fischer
6. KieraPSI
I haven't found a power/ability like the one I want yet...maybe I'm not reading the right books? I'd like to be a projective empath. To be able to make people feel what I want them to feel at an intensity of my choice.
7. wsl0612
I want to be a shapeshifter, I'd love to be able to turn into different animals!
Michelle Gorman
8. BookLoverChelle
Out of the examples provided I'd have to go with Corinne from Blue Diablo, tha ability to learn something's history through touch. But I'll admit, being able to hear thoughts at will has always been appealing to me.
Neeta Kulkarni
9. cheetah_pita
Telepathy sounds pretty cool, with the shields/tools to keep it from being annoying, obviously. It would be an awesome method of communication for people far apart.
Kristine Murphy
10. Kmurphy40
Either telekinesis or shifting... I think those are probably the most useful powers. Although, Prue's ability for astral projection is pretty awesome too!
Axyl Oblivion
11. PsychoticHatter
In Jennifer Ashley's Shifter's Unbound series the shifters are able to communicate with either telepathy or really good body language. Also the shifters are able to tell when someone is in need of comfort or are in pain and can help by touching the person (i.e. hugging) because of pheromones they can release. I would love to be able to do that.
14. caseroo7
I would love to be able to read people's minds. That way i would know what they are thinking!!
Jordan R
16. jrojrojro
I would love to have Kate Daniel's magic powers. She has crazy awesome magic, but she's smart and is still learning about her powers. I love that! Not to mention she's totally a badass even without her magic!
Ashley Clough
17. Lady Ashley
All of the heroines from Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld have powers to be envied and coveted. I'd probably choose Ashlynn's, the ability to hear past conversations, or Anya's demi-goddessness. Who wouldn't want to have the power to zap to where you want to be?
AnnMarie Bozek
18. changes2
I would love to be a shapeshifter, it would be great to be a bird, cat or wolf any day and be whatever my mood changes me into.
G S Moch
19. LSUReader
I'm more of a supporting character kind of gal. I'd like to be a healer, helping out the h/h when they get hurt.
20. Vagabondldy
Heck, I'm just happy to be semi normal and able to read about all the wonderful gifts all our H/Hs have!
Sarah Stultz
21. RVASarah
Is being able to kick ass a magic power? If so, then I want Cat's (from Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series) half-breed power to be totally unassuming around vampires/ghouls/ghosts, and then turn around and kick ass when necessary. Plus, I want her ability to borrow powers from master vampires, simply by drinking their blood. Hot!
22. nenssa
I would love to be able to wield fire, summon demons or control storms.
Ronda McLelland
I would love to have telekinesis....I think that being a witch and having the power to move items with my mind would be awesome. It would come in handy when I am with my children.....I could bring the diaper bag to me instead of asking for it.
Eva Millien
24. evampire
I would like to be an elemental witch with the power to control the wind and lightening.
Pam Howell
25. PicardsMom350
I want wolverines power to heal
and the cool hand knives!!!!
26. eugenie1000
I would love to have the power of empathy/healing (like Sascha from Slave to Sensation) but with physical healing not just souls.

Then Telekinesis. then control over the weather. then super strength.

Not that i've thought about it that much :)
Traci Wallace
27. tracilynn
Rachel Morgan - Witch

I've always thought being an "itchy witchy" would be awesome!
Sara C
28. scham02
I pretty lazy so I think psychokinesis would be pretty useful.
Jessica Larlee
29. darklove923
I would be torn between kim harrisons character Rachel Morgan part earth witch with demon blood, shes a redhead like myself and the situations she finds herself in woudl be fun, dangerious and exciting, and her closest friends are a living vamp, a pixy, gargoyle, and a love hate relationship with an elvian powerhouse. The other would be faith hunters Jane yellowrock. How cool would it be to be a bad ass Harley driving, tight leather waring skinwalker that can change into a mountain lion!? Wicked awesome if you ask me! That and hold the hearts or affection of a master vamp, his blood servant, a were cat and human partner Eli. So much fun and danger to be had! :)
30. indiangirl12
shapeshifter to change into a wolf would be awesome. they are strong and beautiful animals
Ann Sheiring
31. Annwitch
I would like to see the future and speak to the spirits like Karen Chance's Cassandra Palmer. Of corse I would avoid the undead as she tries to do, but seeing the future would be interesting to say the least.
32. MaryC
My choice is a toss-up between healing and telepathy.
Janie McGaugh
33. jmcgaugh
I'd like to be able to fly. I always wanted to be Supergirl when I as an adolescent, more because she could fly than any other reason. What an amazing feeling of freedom it would be!
Stephen Lyon
34. skaftafell
Coyote Mercy;
Through the dark forest running
Free from all restraint.
35. lasvegasnv
Nix from the IAD series and her power to see the future so you can find out what's going to happen ahead of time
Tanya Contois
36. tanyac
I'd choose to have the ability to hear people's thoughts like Sookie Stackhouse.
37. Maris
Ability to heal would be great. Nothing will hold me back from dangerous situations. I can push myself to do the unthinkable - a daredevil. Thanks for the giveaway.
Melissa B
38. Barbed1951
I thing being able to tell the history of an object by touching it would be handy, as long as it didn't injure me like it does Ann Aguirre's Corine Solomon.
Maycee Majors
39. Keeyansmom04
I think if I was magical (wizard, witch, whatever you want to call it) then I could conjure whatever else I needed.. Seer powers, healing abilities, truth serum.. Kind of an all in one! ;0)
Lori K
40. LoriK
I'd want magical powers because the ability to do spells would be way more versitial that having just one specific power. If I couldn't do magic I'd want to be a shifter. I think it would be incredibly cool to be able to change into an animal.
Melissa B
41. Heliyas
I would take Toby Daye's powers. Always thought I'd be a fae if I were a supernatural being.
michelle leon
42. shellmibell
I would take shapeshifting (Jane Yellowrock anyone?) Anyday. Super senses and ability to camoflauge....this of the possibilities !!
kristina Darrington
43. kdarrin
Diana Bishop from Shadow of Night becasue see is a time walker and weaver of spells with Fire & Water in the blood anda thrid eye that is pretty accurate. She gets to create new spells, walk through time, protect people and the races. Living history would be exciting and to be powerful enough to proctect myself and help others along the way amazing.
Melissa B
44. SandyH
Forewarning power - maybe. I think having the power to help with healing would be better though.
Melissa B
45. Karen H in NC
I'm a bit fan of the new series 'Alphas' on SyFy channel. The character Nina has the ability to 'push' people to do what she tells them to do. That's the power I would like to have
Heather Almendarez
46. Longleggzz
I would like to be able to communicate with the dead or have telekenisis. I think. There are so many cool powers out there and each one is amazing in its own way.
Melissa B
47. erica in texas
Of all the urban fantasy books I've read, I'll have to pick the powers of Gin Blanco from the Elemental Assasin series. How cool would it be to create & manipulate stone and ice?!
Melissa B
48. sbashaw
Anita Blakes powers , necromancer - able to call forth an unbeatable army; skillful with guns and knives; vast knowledge of all creatures; strength and healing power of shapeshifters; protector of the weak and loved by many
Melissa B
49. LButz2001
Being a wraith would be awesome. Imagine being able to eavesdrop and learn people's secrets-very useful, almost as good as invisibility.
Jasmine Ray
50. JassyBaby
Gonna agree with Anita Blake here. Necromancy, her abnormal speed, strength and healing capabilities. Oh and especially....the ARDEUR~ Yes!
Melissa B
51. Airy
I want Dani's (Moning's Fever series) super metabolism. To eat whatever I want, not have to exercise and still be skinny would be the best super power ever. Just think, eating a double chocolate cake, cheese fries, and a milk shack and still fitting into my skinny jeans! Being able to levitate objects, set stuff on fire with your mind or
telepathic communication would be awesome but all those are powers to be lazy and will make you fat.
Yeah I know its a little vain and selfish, but my world isnt filled with supernatral evil that needs to be fought. So I am going for something that just for me. Well, I guess the majority of guys would like looking at a hot body... but thats not really on my list of why I would like that power.
Now, I am not saying I would complain if the super sences/speed/strength came as well with the metabolism. But if I gotta pick only one power its the super metabolism.
Airy Elser

^ thats me. (didnt realise I didnt have an account with this site yet)
Heather Martin
53. CrystalMirror
Precognition. I hate not knowing what's coming and how to change it.
Sheila Schwartz
56. sheilag2367
I think I would like to be like Alex Croft (Grave Witch) or Cassandra Palmer (Touch the Dark) to name just a few! Since they can communicate with the dead I would want to have their abilitities for a purely self speak again to my parents and younger brother who have hear and feel their touch and say to them all the things left unsaid while they were alive!! Totally selfish..... told you!!!
Maria Smith
57. TexasBookLover
I'd go with magical powers and hope they would allow me to do all kinds of other nifty tricks!
Jane Burke
58. jeburke_jones
Cassie Palmer - it would be nice(although sometimes confusing) to go back and forth through time.
Cerese Sanborn
59. flowerpower
I would want Were-Hunter powers!! The ability to move from one place to another at a whim and to be able to wish my clothes off or on would be pretty awesome!!
Angela Gradillas
61. Gradia
I would be a shapeshifter. Yes, they have the dual nature thing to deal with, but it would be pretty awesome to change into an animal form!
Anna Gabor
62. Nusejka
My superpower is telekinesis, definitely. Maybe some elemental magic like rule the air, water and fire :)
Riley Moreland
63. ramore
In Jory Strong's Healer's Choice, the heroine is a healer. I've always thought that is a cool ability. Maybe not a 'super' power, but something that would come in hand, in fiction, or in real life!
Jennifer McIntosh
64. mystryder
I'd love to be a shapeshifter. It would be awesome to see the world from an animal's eyes and to run free.
Laura McDonald
65. bonnieclyde
To be a wizard like Harry Dresden would be my favorite- all kinds of magic!
Melissa B
66. Stacey Marin
I think healing would be a cool power to have.
Kelly Nicholson
68. kelloggss
If you could have any hero or heroine's magic power from urban fantasy, what would it be and why?*

I wanna be a jedi vampire...ill rulle the world!
Melissa B
69. Letitia H
Gosh, I love so many UF heroines... Does it count as super power if I want to be MacKayla Lane because that means Jericho Barrons is obsessed with me? ;)

If not, I'll go with Kate Daniels. She kicks major butt and has power words. It'd be cool to make some kneel w/ one word.
Nancy Luebke
71. nancydl
I'd like to be Kate Daniels and be able to clean up problems
erin f
72. efender1
Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I'd be kate Daniels also, b/c she knows how to use magic and is an awesome fighter :)

76. tadyena
i would want to be a kick ass shifter. I even know what kind a big cat :)
Rachel P
77. indigobolt
I've got a draw on what powers I'd rather have. One would be the ability to control fire because its just a fascination with fire. The other would be wings because it would probably be a lot more efficient and Eco friendly than taking a car and dealing with traffic lights and traffic.
savannah miller
I would be a shape shifter! I would love to be able to become a wolf at any given time :)
Anne Muller
79. amuller38
The ability to do spells which would enable me to do a lot of things.
Vilmarys Collado
80. vilmarys
I would love to be telepathic! Definitely would be easier to sort out the liars.
Karen Ott
82. rnkott
Would love to see the dead and help them if needed.
Traci Bamber
84. self_conscious
I love Ilona Andrews' Kate books. Though I think I'd rather be a shifter rather than have Kate's powers. I like the sense of pack family and the enhanced senses even in human form. I don't know if I would rather be a feline shifter or a canine shifter but the ability to change forms and be a part of the wild would be amazing.
Joanna Hernandez
I would be a shifter with the ability to copy/ absorb others powers. That way I can have the best of both worlds.
Debbie ...
87. orchid7
I'd love to be able to fly, turn invisible, have super strength, and to read people's minds.
Great giveaway!
rachel sternberg
89. rae70
It would just be cool to be able to run around in stillettos without breaking ankles like many of the heroines in the books do!) I would like to be: 1. Fae with powers like V'Lane. 2. Rachel Morgans "itchy-witchy" 3. Anita Blake, minus the raging Ardeur. It always seems to show up at the worst moments.
Melissa B
90. Sarah Kozlowski
In Graceling Katsa has the gift of survival. A close second would be telekinesis, or some kind of elemental power.
Patricia German
91. bluemonday
Just One? Nope, can't choose just one because I want to be a true shapeshifter/skinwalker with telekenisis, teleportation, healing and voluntary telepathy.
Maya Amis
92. mayat7
I'd love to have general magical powers, even if I had to learn how to use them. I've also often wished I could teleport or shift shape.
Karin Anderson
93. AquarianDancer
I would like the ability to shapeshift! Into what? Don't know. Something pretty.
Adriana Gonzalez
94. agonmor
It's a toss-up between telepathy and telekinesis. I'd love to read someone's mind, but there are times when you just don't need to know what others are thinking. Those are times when I'd like to have telekinesis.
95. kochouran
I'd probably go with Slayer abilities: super strength and agility, fast healing, and heightened senses. They'd all come in handy for various situations, like having to move on my own or dealing with a creeper.
Allison Hickman
96. AllisonHickman
I'd love to be able to shift into a wolf just because I love them but being able to fly or teleport would be just amazing!
Eyvonne Rogers
97. Eyvonner
Hard to pick - shifting with super strength and heightened senses or ability with magic, trances, foresight.
Eyvonne Rogers
98. Eyvonner

99. Rochelle
in answer to the question, what power I would like to have?Corrines powers, esp,to touch and know the past, present, and future of an object truly is priceless. To know whats in someones thoughts would be a gift of epic proportions.Image the joy you could give someone, knowing what he or she needs to hear at the very moment it`s needed.Beautiful.
Stacy Scudder
100. chameleon68
Okay, not totally PNR/UF but I'd love to be soulless like Alexia Tarabotti in the Parasol Protectorate series. Being able to neutralize and turn human any supernatural creature would be the absolute best.
Antoinette McMyne
101. Antie23
All these books sound really interesting. I would enjoy reading them all. If I have to pick only one of their "gifts" I would pick Corine Solomon's gift of touching an object and knowing it's history. I think it would be really intesting to know where an object came from. Thanks for the opportunity and I would love to win!!
Deb W
103. Wrighty
Any power sounds cool but you would also pay a price for it. Since I was a kid I was always fascinated by witches and wizards and thier magic (and black cats!). Thanks for another great offer!
Shannon Cooper
104. yeahbuddy3
It would have to be the ability to time travel that interests me the most. I would love to go to different places in different times with on a whim.
105. fire_dragon31
I think i would wanna be like Lia in Karen Chance's short story Skin Deep. She has the best of everything: she can work magic (although it doesnt always work), she is half shape-shifter & she is dating a shape-shifter. I think that has the best of all worlds.
Cheryl U.
106. matkeltri
It would probably be quick healing and/or the ability to heal others.
Becky Hantsbarger
107. BeckyIA
I'm going to go with Harry Dresden and wizard powers. Please?!?!?!?!
Lindsey MacGown
108. Lindsey_N
Cat, from Jeaniene Frosts night huntress series. Not because she has a really cool super power, like absorbing others powers, but because she also seems to have a power of wit, smarts, and sarcasm. My kinda girl.
Mary L Allen
110. celtpriest
Tough one....Iwould probably want to be a healer or finder...or Lily Yu's ability to "touch" magic with immunity (impunity?).
Melissa B
111. Megan S
I would love to be a shifter, endless possibilites.
angela smith
112. scorpion1169
being able to find missing children or being able to heal would be cool.

Corine's because I think it would be so excting to touch something and know its history
Daniel Morrell
117. godan

Melissa B
118. don hughes
to be able to read minds
Brianna Lee
120. briannaleereviews
I would love to win and review these books! Thanks for the great opportunity! This is another hard question! I would like to be able to read minds (but by choice and not so overwhelming like with Sookie Stackhouse), and possibly just having witch craft powers.
