Angel's Ink by Jocelynn Drake

Buyer beware . . .

Looking for a tattoo—and maybe a little something extra: a burst of good luck, a dollop of true love, or even a hex on an ex? Head to the quiet and mysterious Gage, the best skin artist in town. Using unique potions—a blend of extraordinary ingredients and special inks—to etch the right symbol, he can fulfill any heart's desire. But in a place like Low Town, where elves, faeries, trolls, werewolves, and vampires happily walk among humanity, everything has its price.

No one knows that better than Gage. Turning his back on his own kind, he left the magical Ivory Tower where cruel witches and warlocks rule, a decision that cost him the right to practice magic. And if he disobeys, his punishment—execution—will be swift.

Though he's tried to fly under the radar, Gage can't hide from powerful warlocks who want him dead—or the secrets of his own past. But with the help of his friends, Trixie, a gorgeous elf who hides her true identity, and a hulking troll named Bronx, Gage might just make it through this enchanted world alive.

Dark Desire by Christine Feehan

They were masters of the darkness, searching through eternity for a mistress of the light . . .

The stranger silently summoned her from across the continents, across the seas, whispering of eternal torment, of endless hunger . . . of dark, dangerous desires. And somehow American surgeon Shea O'Halloran could feel his anguish, sense his haunting aloneness.

Drawn to the far Carpathian Mountains, Shea found a ravaged, raging man, a being like no other. And she trembled. For in his burning eyes she recognized the beloved stranger who'd already become part of her.

But was she to be his healer . . . or his prey?

To enter for a chance to win one of these awesome prize packs, just make sure you're logged in as a registered member of the site and then tell us in the comments: Angels or demons? Or both (as long as they're tortured, right?)?

Angels and Demons...with issues!!
3. Melissa B
OMG ~ REALLY? I can't CHOOSE!! It totally depends on the story...and the author. But Larissa Ione's Demons top my charts as some fav heroes, so they're tipping scale...but I DO love me some bad assed Angels
4. Kareni
I've read books about both angels and demons. I vote for both so long as the book is well done.
Kelly Mayberry
6. Keslynn
I don't think I can choose! At first, I thought demons for sure because they have such a variety of awesome powers. Then I thought about Nalini Singh's angels, and they're incredible too. I love me some Raphael.

A tie? If I had a gun to my head, I guess I'd pick demons.
Maria Smith
7. TexasBookLover
Both! I am an equal opportunity lover of all things paranormal as long as the book is well written and not predictable. Gotta spread the love around equally!
8. caseroo7
AHH!! How do you choose between them??? I think if i absolutely had to pick though id go angels.
10. Christy P
If I have to pick just one, I have to pick the Demons, they want love too :)
12. pigdog
Both. Although alot of the time the demons are more human than the angels.
Maycee Majors
13. Keeyansmom04
Mmm so hard to choose! With the right storyline.. Either.. Or both! ;0) can I twist it and say a fallen angel? Best of both worlds!
Christy Harrelson
14. GaPugMom
I agree Fallen Angels rock and so do the Demons! There is something about the men from the darkside that grab me and keep me wanting more!
Jennifer Walter
15. jlc341
That's a tough one. I think it depends on the author and their world. Of course, as mentioned by others, fallen angels are a good compromise in the right hands. I think the demons are on the winning side based on the number of books I've read with them versus angels.
Allison Hickman
16. AllisonHickman
Since I've read more Demon books than Angel books I have to go with Demons. But some of these comments make me think I should check out some Angel books!
Cerese Sanborn
17. flowerpower
Demons? Hell Yes!!
Angels? How can you say no?

Why would anyone deny that they want either of these types? I can't think of any reason!!
Cerese Sanborn
18. flowerpower
Sorry about the blank comments!! My laptop was being irritating.
Julie Hennes
20. fallonsfreeway
I'm sorry to say it could be either angel or demon for me. It depends on the depth of the passion that the character expresses in both thought and deeds along with the sacrafices given to be with their soul mate. So, either one can make my heart pound!
Jasmine Ray
21. JassyBaby
Definitely...both! I love a tortured hero, whether he's angel, demon, or any other paranormal. JassyBaby does not discriminate!
Victoria Sloboda
22. jovial_1
I lov ethem both but my book boyfriends are demons so my loyalty is with them :).
Jordan R
23. jrojrojro

26. sbashaw

36. Tithe
Angels and demons both, as long as they're tortured - love my tortured...I wounder if that makes me a bad
Axyl Oblivion
37. PsychoticHatter
Angels in Kerrelyn Sparks "Vampire Mine" and Demons in "The Demon You Know" by Christine Warren. In Christine Warren's The Others series Demons aren't what the general public thought (The classic "I need an old priest and a young priest" line is quoted in the book)
38. wsl0612
Oh demons, demons! They really are the ultimate bad boy and just the thought of reforming one :-)
Jessica Larlee
39. darklove923
Angels or demons? It depends on the story all the way, if its a naughty demon it makes for a hott/ fun read because we all love the bad boy. Angels with a twisted past are also intrigueing, they are always expected to be the good guys. And if you find a book with a good demon vs.angel war you have an extra good story in your hands.
Ann Sheiring
43. Annwitch
Yikes what a choice! I am going to have to choose demons. I'll take both if they are tortured, no still demons are number 1.
Penni DePaul
44. penniloafers9
Angels!!!!! Seriously...beautiful wings, massive power, awesome enhancements like telethapy
Lori K
45. LoriK
I can go either way depending on the story, but if forced to pick just one it's going to be demons. At least in fiction, I have a weakness for a guy with issues.
Traci Bamber
48. self_conscious
i'm totally in with love nalini singh's guild hunter series so i have to go w/ angels :)
50. fire_dragon31
I'd have to say both because both Angels & Demons have thier own issues to deal with. Both have to walk a fine line within thier circle. Just can't choose between them.
kristina Darrington
51. kdarrin

Heather Rizzuti
56. heatherbartley
I like both, as long as the angel is not too much of a goody-two-shoes!
Paula Wall
59. pwall55
Angels, I guess, though it is how well the story is written and the character is developed that holds my attention.
60. Barbed1951
I'd pick both, but leaning more towards demons - I always go for the bad boys so demons fit that better than angels.
61. MaryC
As long as the story and characters engage me, I don't have a preference.
Nichole Magante
62. suchadork
I'l take both - all of them are tortured one way or another. :)

Given the many definitions for 'angel' and 'demon' I'm just torn - whole characters and worlds ! in the end all are enjoyable reads.
Shannon Cooper
75. yeahbuddy3
Angels and Demons both as one would not be complete without the other. And tortured? Hell yes! (no pun intended)
76. MariaG
