Friday Beefcake: Historical Cops & Robbers

Tom Weston-Jones in CopperWhether they’re good, bad, or somewhere in between, we can’t deny we have a thing for historical tough guys like Tom Weston-Jones in the new BBC America show Copper (debuting this Sunday on BBC America!), Brad Pitt as Jesse James in The Assassination of Jesse James, the cast of next year’s Gangster Squad, Russell Crowe in 3:10 to Yuma, Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf in the forthcoming Lawless, and Timothy Olyphant in Deadwood.

Enjoy, and as always, do feel free to add your own favorites in the comments.

Timothy Olyphant period! Deadwood, Justified, heck, I even liked him as the bad-azz computer dude in Live Free!

I just adored Seth Bullock ... he was just barely hanging onto the down side of crazy. And Raylan is just so damn cool ...

Be still my heart!

And there's always Idris Elba's Luther, again just a little bit out there:

I'm really looking forward to watching Copper. I hope his acting matches his looks! I'm bummed that BBCA doesn't broadcast in HD on DirecTV. I saw the commercials for Copper on an HD channel, and he looked even more beautiful!
