Wishful Thinking: Dear Santa

Christmas Tree by J Jackson PhotographyDear Santa,

Hi, Santa. It’s Chelsea. I’m pretty sure you and I are on the same wavelength and agree that reading very sexy books should not put one on the naughty list. In fact, recommending quality reads to my book-loving friends should bolster my nice-ness. Right?

As such, I’m sending over my wishlist. I’m anxiously awaiting so many new books and fret over what may come in them. Please take my suggestions to heart and then use some Christmas magic to tinker with plotlines as needed. Thank you. Also, I will make you extra yummy cookies.

I want…

Sacrificial Magic by Stacia Kane…a bit of domestic bliss for a junkie and her enforcer in Stacia Kane’s Sacrificial Magic (release date 3/27/12). Or another tunnel scene. Whatever. I just need more Terrible.

…the bad guy to get a chance at love, but without losing his fangs, in Kresley Cole’s Lothaire (releases 1/10/12).

…Tohr’s HEA. (And to have J.R. Ward’s Lover Reborn in my hands before the March 27, 2012, release date.)

…to see what a mini unicorn would do after downing a case of Natty Light. This likely will not happen in Allison Pang’s A Sliver of Shadows (releases 2/28/12), but a girl can wish.

…some Once Burned (releases 6/16/12) teasers. I’m ready for Vlad’s story, and a snippet or two would go a long way, Santa/Jeaniene Frost.

…Calla not to go back to Ren in Andrea Cremer’s Bloodrose (releases 1/3/12). I have no idea what she’s doing to do, but it is a real fear. Please intervene, Santa. (I’m alone in loving Shay. I know it.)

Shadow Heir by Richelle Mead…Eugenie to have little red-headed babies. It’s OK if this occurs in the epilogue of Richelle Mead’s Shadow Heir (release 12/27/11). It’s fine if it happens years in the future, but I want those babies.

…to see Rachel Morgan flex a bit of demon muscle in Kim Harrison’s A Perfect Blood (releases 2/21/12).

…a pure atom bomb explosion when Paris and Sienna collide in Gena Showalter’s The Darkest Seduction (releases 2/21/12). When two people possessed by promiscuity and wrath demons, respectively, share a bed, I expect explosions.

...a vampire hot-boy-with-sword in Julie Kagawa’s The Immortal Rules (releases 4/24/12). The woman who gave us the Iron Fey series’s Prince Ash is shifting gears and taking on the fanged. I want the vampiric version of Ice Boy.

Thanks for taking the time, Santa. Now that I think about it, how about two kinds of cookies. (That’s not a bribe, is it?)

Ho Ho Ho from the Nice List,

PS. Please take into consideration the plot and reading requests of my friends in the comments section below. They’re all good. Swear.

While Chelsea Mueller runs Vampire Book Club, she won’t turn down a sexy werewolf, demon or faerie. (Her husband often reminds her that she’s taken.)

All I want for Christmas is to able to read all the books Chelsea's recommended (oh, and a tunnel scene, please).
4. ChelseaMueller
@MFrampton - I wouldn't be surprised if Stacia Kane has something even better than the tunnel scene up her sleeve. She's crafty, that one.

Since there's no new Kate Daniels book in my near future, could you please give me Ilona Andrews "amnesia" so that I can have the joy of reading all those great books again like it was the first time. Am I asking too much? A girl can hope.
6. ChelseaMueller
@Julia - That is an AWESOME request. Relive "here, kitty kitty" again...

Dear Santa,
Please let Jane True finally get some with her Baraghest lover in Nicole Peeler's Jane True series. the sexual tension is killing me!
Please help Patricia Briggs' next Alpha Omega book to get here sooner rather than later - I need some Charles Cornnick.
Also, do you think you could talk to the people at Visa about the charges for books. Maybe before my husband sees the bill?
Thanks Santa.
You're the man!

@CdnMrs - Can we just tell the people at the bookstores that Santa said he'd cover our purchases? Maybe?

PJ Schnyder's HUNTING KAT (Carina Press) was a fun sci-fi romance adventure, but I'm asking Santa for a spinoff of that book, one that features computer hacker Boggle in his own romance. Yes, Boggle is a man of significant girth, but so is Santa Claus, and look how popular he is, heh.

Dear Santa (yes, I know your REAL name is Hanukkah Harry),

You've been wonderful to me so far this year, but please oh please, won't you give all of Jeaniene Frosts' fans the greatest gift of all and have her Night Huntress novels be made into a TV show? I've been ever so good, and so have all of her fans!

Also, please give me and all book loving people our own Time Turners so we all have enough time to sit and enjoy good books and still get everything else we need to do accomplished. :)

Thank you, and I promise at least a dozen varieties of sweets for you and the Mrs.
