The Gateway Experiment: So...What’d We Pick?

Mr. Impossible by Loretta ChaseLast week, we asked H&H readers to toss their suggestions for The Gateway Experiment: Christopher Morgan Reads Romance. And the suggestions were fabulous, thank you!

So this week, we’ve given Chris two books, both of which he’s planning to read (hopefully the first two out of many). And they are...

Meljean Brook’s Demon Angel and Loretta Chase’s Mr. Impossible.

Chris will be reporting in on his readings.

Very cool ... I love this idea! I've been out of touch for the last week or so planning a surprise party for my husband, so I missed the original call for suggestions, but if it's not too late I'd like to throw in Linda Howard's ALL THE QUEEN'S MEN and Amy J. Fetzer's PERFECT WEAPON.

@Dolly Sickles -- I adore All the Queen's Men. That would be a great one. Haven't read Perfect Weapon--must look it up. (Good luck with the party--how fun!)

Don't weep for me, I find myself enjoying the character of Rupert immensely, but I'll have more in my post later...

Just be pleased I didn't get the chance to recommend anything...mind you I think I have pretty good taste, but it'd be heavy on the UF side.

I kept wanting to throw UF into it, but the romance isn't first and foremost in there, but I bet he'd like some of the 'romance'-ier UFs.

Glad you're enjoying Rupert, Christopher! Isn't he fun?

Rupert is a ton of fun, its like he's almost about to give the wink to the audience that he is in on the jokes, like a well played Dean Martin-esq Straight Man. That's probably a poor anaology but I'm sticking with it for right now...

I loved Rupert from the moment he started whistling in the dungeon.
