Gena Showalter’s The Darkest Seduction has a Cover!

The Darkest Seduction by Gena ShowalterLook at this hot and smoking deliciousness!

The most recent in Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld series is Paris’s story, titled The Darkest Seduction, and here is its just-unveiled cover.

The blurb:

Possessed by the demon of Promiscuity, immortal warrior Paris is irresistibly seductive—but his potent allure comes at a terrible price. Every night he must bed someone new, or weaken and die. And the woman he craves above all others is the one woman he’d thought was forever beyond his reach…until now.

Newly possessed by the demon of Wrath, Sienna Blackstone is racked by a ruthless need to punish those around her. Yet, in Paris’s arms the vulnerable beauty finds soul-searing passion and incredible peace. Until a blood feud between ancient enemies heats up.

Will the battle against gods, angels and creatures of the night bind them eternally– or tear them apart?

While you wait for this book to be released—Feb. 21, 2012—you can read our post on The Darkest Surrender, the book just before this one in the series.

This is a really stunning cover. I've never read Showalter, though--where to start? Would I like?

@MFrampton: It is a really good paranormal romance series. This "Lords of the Underworld" series is, in my opinion, Showalter's best work. She really has a talent for writing entertaining books. However, you really should read this series in order because there are ongoing plotlines, and you get to know characters and their stories as you go along. I hope this helps!

I absolutely love this series! One of my favorites. We have been waiting for his story from like 5 books ago... Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little. LOL. I agree with southernwoman9 - definitely read it in order. :)
The cover is hot!

I'm reading The Darkest Surrender now. I told myself I wouldn't start a series without reading the first book first. lol But I saw this and couldn't resist (the discount story didn't have the whole series, just the one book , and I was desperate for a new read, lol. Of course if it had the first book, I'd start with that). And although the characters are in each other's books, I figured I could get by with reading out of order for this one book because each book is about a different couple, not the same.

But after reading TDS, I am going to go back and start from the beginning.

This is my first time reading Gena Showalter. I'm liking it and the characters are certaintly different than others I've read before. lol

@MFrampton Here's the link to the whole series on Goodreads.

I've been a fan of the series since the first book and even read the e book the darkest fire in the colaboration of e books. I love the cover but it makes me sad. 1. It breaks with the tradition of just having the lord on the cover
2. I love paris' blonde hair and blue eyes. Why in the name of the Gods would they make him brunette
3. Sienna is a redhead with freckles.

I know you don't really have control over the cover art and frankly I'm no a nut job or anything but I am a visual person and this kind of breaks my heart a little. I fell in love with Paris, I cried with him and died with him and I feel as if his identity has also now been stripped away. I've waited a long time for his story and no one deserves it more than he. I found myself reading the other books with the hope of catching snippits of him...

Anyway, excited and sad at the same time!
