Nikki H had her own modern romance
What a fantastic story, Sienna! My husband and I were introduced by my brother. The two of them played college baseball and had traveled to my university for a series of games. Honestly, neither of us was very excited to go on this date, but to appease my brother (read: shut him up), we did. That first date was 44 years ago next week, and we've been married nearly 43 years.
May you and your hubby be blessed with many, many more years of happiness.

I'm a strong willed secretary with a deep distrust for bad boys and a scar from a bullet wound on her hip.
Who falls for a neighbor with too many scars and a habit of prowling at night shirtless.
When suddenly my lover wakes me with his hand over my lips, warning me to silence or both of us will die.
And I refuse to beg for my life and tell my hero to go to hell when I believe he’s behind the situation, only to have him reveal the truth. He reminds me why I let him into my life to begin with. It might have something to do with that ‘thing’ he does that makes me melt?
BellRomance doesn’t get squick-y
BellRomance in Which Word Squicks You Out More?
I am not easily squicked. The strongest reaction I've gotten from this poll is the overwhelming need to go get some cake.
Lynne Connolly is a rugby aficionado
Lynne Connolly in 5 Rugby Phrases That Sound Dirty But Are Legit Sports Terms
Rugby is my thing. I always go back to it. Unfortunately at the moment I'm living in League country, but my heart is with Union. I was born and brought up in Leicester, which might explain a few things.
I still have palpitations when I watch the last minute of play of the 2002 World Cup final. Only one other match equals it for heart-stopping action, and that's the time Manchester United won the treble, but that's something else entirely! However both involved last minute scores and desperate action. I can't believe you didn't mention the Dieux du Stade calendar!
