Leigh Bardugo is moving to Ninth House: The author of YA fantasy novel Six of Crows and its sequel, Crooked Kingdom, has sold two new books to publisher Random House, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The first, titled Ninth House, will launch a new series about 20-year-old heroine Alex Stern, who has “lived a lot of lives before we meet her,” when she unexpectedly gets accepted to Yale University in order to keep an eye on the school's secrety societies. Anyone else suddenly flashing back to The Skulls?

Set nine years after the series finale, the four new episodes—streaming on Netflix beginning November 25—promise to bring us up-to-date on all the goings-on of Lorelai, Rory, Emily, Luke, Sookie, Michel, Jess, and the rest of the quirky town. While the trailer doesn't give away too much, it does give us hints at what our beloved Gilmores will be dealing with come Thanksgiving weekend.

It was funny to see mention of Michelle Diener's book above as I'm in the process now of re-reading her Class 5 series.

@Kareni -- I haven't read those! I should really dip into more sci-fi romance; Battlestar Galactica was one of my favorite shows until the end.
