Is They Came Together the Best Romantic Comedy Movie Ever?

“You like fiction books? I never met anyone else who likes fiction! That is too funny!”

How meta can one movie be? Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler star in They Came Together, a movie that is both a send-up and an homage to romantic comedy movies. It looks amazing, in many different ways.

They Came Together will be out in theaters June 27, 2014

Hmmm...I need to call my accountant and see if I can write this off as a business related research expense.

It does look like fun, but I'm wondering if they can sustain the joke for an entire movie. Looks more like something that would be an amusing "Funny or Die" episode.

@DarleneMarshall, I would be skeptical also except I think Rudd and Poehler can totally carry off a joke for an entire movie. I am so excited to see this.

As long as the movie's poking fun at rom-coms in a good-humored way, I am SO IN. The cast is bonkers, I love them all so much.
