The Lingerie Shop by Joey W. HillIn need of some sexy reading material to fill your e-reader? I’m here for you. Each month I will bring you an assortment of erotic pleasure reads to tempt your palate—and your credit card....

April showers us with love, lust and some dynamic power exchanges as the couples in here explore their boundaries in the bedroom and beyond.

Naughty Bits, Part 1: The Lingerie Shop by Joey W. Hill

Madison is a control freak with one wish—to lose control. Her hidden submissive cravings have led to a string of disastrous relationships. So when she inherits her sister’s North Carolina lingerie shop, Naughty Bits, she jumps at the opportunity to dump her boring finance career and bad history and try her luck down South.

But before Madison can settle in, she catches the attention of the owner of the neighboring hardware store. Sexually dominant Logan Scott can see the hunger for command in Madison’s eyes and is anxious to help unleash her submissive desires. He presents her with three very tempting gifts—handcuffs, erotic cards, and an open invitation to join him at a submissive’s training session.

Faced with the realization that she can’t sell fantasies to her lingerie customers without embracing her own, Madison accepts Logan’s offer. Now, she’s about to discover just how far her desire can take her…

Ooo La La. The first book in Joey Hill’s four book serial, The Lingerie Shop, introduces us to a sexually repressed woman and the kinky sexy dom who wants to make all her desires come true...especially the ones she doesn't even know she has.

Frenched by Melanie HarlowFrenched by Melanie Harlow

When Tucker Branch, playboy heir to Branch Bolt and Screw, screws and bolts a week before their wedding, Mia Devine wants nothing more than to crawl under her newly monogrammed sheets and plan a funeral for her dignity. But her friends convince her that bitter tastes better when it’s drowned in Bordeaux, so Mia grits her teeth and packs her bags, determined to make the best of her luxurious Paris honeymoon—alone.

She never planned on meeting Lucas Fournier.

The easygoing bartender’s scruffy good looks and less-than-sympathetic ear annoy her at first, but when she takes him up on his offer to show her around the city, she discovers that the romance of Paris isn’t just a myth.

Nor is the simultaneous O.

The last thing Mia needs is another doomed love affair, but since she only has a week, she figures she might as well enjoy la vie en O with Lucas while she can. But each day—and night—with Lucas is better than the last, and suddenly her heart is telling her this is more than a rebound fling.

Is it just the seduction of Paris…or could this be the real thing?

A frothy confection of lust, laughter, and many, many “Os” when a jilted bride travels to Paris and finds that in the city of love, anything is possible.

Teach Me a Lesson by Jasmine Haynes

Do what you have to do, Principal. I deserve it…

High school guidance counselor by day, sex therapist by night, Charlotte Moore’s passion is people—whether helping students with the realities of life or helping their parents with the fantasies. Enter Principal Lance Hutton, the perfect subject for Charlotte’s method in recharging the sex drive—and it’s going to take some discipline. Considering this hot older man is her boss, it makes sense that he dole out the punishment. Besides, Charlotte’s begging for it.

But when Charlotte’s after-school extracurricular activities are made public, it threatens her job, her reputation, and the career of the man she’s falling head over heels in love with. Now, if this town wants a scandal, Charlotte and Lance are ready to give them one—and a lesson in bad behavior they’ll never forget.

When an itch to be scratched becomes something more serious, this erotic delight balances titillating kink with a naughty romance that sparks a controversy which overflows from the bedroom into the workplace.

King of Thieves by Jane KindredKing of Thieves (Demons of Elysium, #2) by Jane Kindred

Belphagor can seduce demons with a look and bring angels to their knees with a single motion, but when it comes to being in love, the Prince of Tricks is out of his element.

At every turn, Vasily rebels against the discipline he claims to want, even refusing to use his safe word. But when Belphagor uses a scheme to shut down an underage brothel to test Vasily s limits, he loses Vasily's trust along with the boys he intended to set free.

Uncovering a smuggling ring that spans two worlds, Belphagor calls on a team of Nephilim mercenaries to rescue the Lost Boys from earthly gangsters. But his relationship seems beyond repair and a heartbroken Vasily beyond his reach in the arms of a sensual demon named Silk.

Belphagor has more than enough grand schemes up his sleeve to bring down the smuggling ring for good. But when it comes to putting things right with Vasily, his bag of tricks is empty. Except for trust and a plan to teach his boy a lesson neither will soon forget.

Pain and pleasure vie for dominance as Belphagor and Vasily take their relationship to a new level — a level that will make or break the fragile love that exists between them.

Beyond Solitude (Beyond, #4.5) by Kit Rocha

When a motorcycle accident leaves Derek Ford riding a desk at the O’Kane compound, the last thing he needs is a sexy new assistant upending his office and his life. But Mia isn’t scared of her domineering boss. The friction between them generates an undeniable heat—but Mia will not be kept, and Ford will do anything to protect what’s his.

A few notes: Unlike Beyond Temptation, this story stands separate from the main series plotline, with a tight focus on the hero and heroine as they travel through some parts of the Sectors we don't usually get to show. This is currently available only in the Alphas After Dark Anthology.

A post apocalyptic erotic romance that celebrates the choice of freedom in all aspects of life. Sex, violence, power, and death all circle in this incredibly powerful tale of a young woman who escapes a life of servitude only to find that true freedom comes from within her.

Sue Peace-I'm not a fan of serials but I really enjoyed the first installment of The Lingerie Shop. Full bodied and great set up for such a short book.

I read and LOVED Teach Me a Lesson--Jasmine Haynes might be a night auto-buy erotic author for me. I hope we can see more in this "universe," but I have a feeling it's just a duology, not anything more.

Also going to try The Lingerie Shop (which I just tried to spell as Shoppe, Ye Olde Naughty Bits... shaking my head). Anyway, I'm not a fan of serials either, but I'm too intrigued. I'm totally not fatigued on erotic romance yet, but I am kind of getting over dark BDSM--even though the two I mentioned are Dom/sub situations. Meh, I guess I like what I like, but it has to be done right!

Jennifer Proffitt-I think Hayes has a gift when it comes to the average joe shomo kinking it up. lol Her books are chocked full of characters and situations that scream realism.

Yeah, I love that too. I typically don't love an older hero (especially one pushing 50) but there was something about Principal Hutton that I just loved. And I loved that it really was just kinking it up, as you said. It felt natural. Also love the issues that Haynes infuses that do make it so real. Dealing with office politics, children/step-children, fear of committment. All very relatable.
