Do what you have to do, Principal. I deserve it…

High school guidance counselor by day, sex therapist by night, Charlotte Moore’s passion is people—whether helping students with the realities of life or helping their parents with the fantasies. Enter Principal Lance Hutton, the perfect subject for Charlotte’s method in recharging the sex drive—and it’s going to take some discipline. Considering this hot older man is her boss, it makes sense that he dole out the punishment. Besides, Charlotte’s begging for it.

But when Charlotte’s after-school extracurricular activities are made public, it threatens her job, her reputation, and the career of the man she’s falling head over heels in love with. Now, if this town wants a scandal, Charlotte and Lance are ready to give them one—and a lesson in bad behavior they’ll never forget.

In the follow-up to her perfectly racy The Naughty Corner, Jasmine Haynes tells the very forbidden tale of the school counselor/sex therapist-on-the-side Charlotte and school principal Lance, seizing another delicious fantasy and going all the way with it. Charlotte is used to talking about sex all day long in her practice, but her own sex life leaves something to be desired. Her preconceived ideas about only hooking up with younger guys and past hurts that have her running scared from relationships have left her with few options, besides a very strong desire to be controlled in the bedroom...and spanked.

So Charlotte is shocked when older, distinguished Principal Hutton finds her on her knees in her office and awakens something inside her. Having worked together for several years, this sudden draw is all about timing, and a very sexy encounter in the school detention room sets things off in a big way.

“Don't I have to misbehave before I get sent to detention, Principal Hutton?”

“With your track record, Miss Moore, I have no doubt you will.”

Rising, she smoothed down her pencil skirt, calling attention to her thighs. She leaned both hands on his desk, and his eyes dropped to take in the view down her blouse. Charlotte licked her bottom lip, making her lipstick glisten.

Then she whispered, “Cocksucker.”

“Miss Moore, I am shocked.” His eyes glittered lecherously. “Are you referring to me? Or to yourself.”

“I would never believe that's what you are, Principal Hutton.”

“But I'd venture to say you are.”

She batted her eyelashes. “And proud of it.”

The muscles of his face tensed in an effort not to laugh, but he played his part.

"Totally inappropriate language, Miss Moore. This requires extensive after-school detention.”

“I definitely need to be punished, Principal Hutton.”

“It's going to take more than our usual forty-five minutes. We'll need to do it at my house.”

“Whatever you say, Principal. I know I've been very bad.”

“Tomorrow night.”

There is no one who writes pure erotic fantasy better than Haynes. Her scenarios are never cheesy, because her insight into human sexuality is so spot on. Often there's no explaining or controlling fantasies, and this is exactly what Charlotte and Lance experience. Charlotte struggles a little still with handing over control, and Lance never would've considered himself dominant when it comes to sex, but it all just clicks for them when they get behind closed doors. In his office. Or hers.

“Are you sure you want to say no? You aren't wearing panties. That indicates intention, my dear Miss Moore.”

His finger barely moved, but it was enough. Simply with the heat of his skin, he made her body clench with need. Her lips formed the word No but the sound didn't come out.

He shot her that devilish grin of his. “Which means you're not sure you want to say no.” Delving deeper into her sex, he let out a low groan. “Oh, Miss Moore, you are so very wet.”

Charlotte's breath came faster as he stroked her clitoris, light, teasing swirls around it. Her legs shifted of their own volition, giving him better access.
Then both his hands were up her skirt. She grabbed his shoulder to steady herself.

“You want it, Miss Moore. You can't help yourself. You need it badly. Because you're such a dirty girl.” He talked and stroked, drove her up on the ledge, her legs beginning to quiver. “You love sex. You love to come. You need a man inside you every day. You need my tongue on you, my cock in you. Don't you, Miss Moore?”

There's a side story that concerns very real, current issues revolving around families and students in the school, providing the astute social commentary that can usually be found in Haynes's books and serving as both a foil to the intense sex and the vehicle for Charlotte and Lance to work out what they really are. With all the blurred lines between work and play, there's no question there's a lot at stake here. How forbidden is it to get involved in such a heavy relationship with a superior from work, especially when that work is highly public and one of great responsibility as leaders in a school? And somehow, given their jobs, the spanking is that much naughtier. But the emotional component matches the taboo and the relevancy, and it is her ability to juggle all of these that makes Haynes's writing so addictive and her stories so fulfilling.

I started reading this yesterday and OH MY GOD! I'm not usually into the heroine/hero of a certain age but I'm SO into this story. I loved The Naughty Corner and I'm loving Teach Me a Lesson so far.
