What’s the Next (Not As) Forbidden Frontier?

E.L. James's Fifty Shades of Grey introduced BDSM to the mainstream reading world, and now romance readers have grown accustomed to seeing elements of BDSM in their most mainstream romances.

In your opinion, what is the next forbidden frontier for romance authors to introduce to the mainstream?

Same sex relationships. Waiting for M/M romance to blast into public awareness.

I agree, @Blue Jaypeg, I think m/m will hit the mainstream soon.

I don't think it will happen any time soon, but how about f/m/f triangles? We get plenty of m/m/f ones, but non of the other.

@Blue Jaypeg: I agree that M/M romance may be the next big thing.

I am still waiting for interracial couples to be mainstream--and not just between blank minority and whites.

Also, I think male bisexuality is still a major taboo to most people and that hasn't hit mainstream in a big way like 50 Shades.
