What Does Your Favorite Romance Novel Say About You?

With Buzzfeed turning quiz-taking into a daily obsession (“I got Big Dick Richie!”) it seems only appropriate to ask a question that, remarkably, Buzzfeed hasn't yet:

What does your favorite romance novel say about you?

If we tell you our favorite romance novel, are you going to tell it what it means about us??? :) Mine is either Devil's Bride by Stephanie Laurens or Gentle Rogue by Johanna Lindsey or Honor's Splendour by Julie Garwood. I have no idea what that says about me. :)

@JenniferPorter, I WISH I were that clever! Let's see. You like alpha heroes, being whisked away to a world of splendor, and hot, steamy sex? Who WOULDN'T like that!

Okay, well as you know I love Kresley Cole so I would say A Hunger Like No Other? Rounding out my Top 5 Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha, When Beauty Tamed the Beast by Eloisa James, The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn, Uncommon Passion by Anne Calhoun.

So I guess this means I like Alpha-jerks but with a sweet spot for their heroines? Yeah, this pretty much just says that I like huge jerks.

I think my favs tells me I'm a sucker for a happy ending, I like strong leads with a balanced relationship, I'm slightly bi polar, and I like kink more then I'm willing to admit. :P

My current favorite contemporary is Three Little Words by Susan Mallery which tells me I like a guy who does the yardwork and has a great sense of humor, among other fun things. Hmmm, sounds like my husband.

My favorite go-to romance is "Agnes and The Hitman" by Jennifer Crusie. Guess that means I like cooking, strong, silent types and a high body count with a dash of humor.

I'm also a Jennifer Crusie lover, and my favorites are Faking It and Bet Me. I think it says that I like smart, funny guys who don't worry too much about being alphas. Sounds like my husband, for sure!
