First Glimpse of Fifty Shades of Grey’s Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian and Ana! (+ New Release Date)

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian and Ana on the cover of EWEntertainment Weekly has the first photos of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E.L. James's Fifty Shades of Grey. The two grace the cover of the magazine's latest issue, out on Friday.

Until then, you can get a peek at the EW cover story here, including a quote from Dornan on his reaction to the news he'd gotten the role of Christian Grey:

“There was a slight fear,” Dornan says now, his wiry frame huddled on a couch in a Los Angeles photo studio. “But beyond anything else, I was really f—ing excited.”

News also broke this morning that the film's release date has been pushed back again—we'll now get our Christian/Ana fix just in time for Valentine's Day 2015; the movie's set to hit the big screen on February 13, 2015.

Do these pics match what you'd imagined Christian and Ana to look like?

For all things Fifty, keep tabs on H&H's Fifty Shades Trilogy collection.

Well, FWIW Dakota Johnson's pose is a pretty accurate representation of one of the main reasons that why I didn't like the book.

Got that right -- EW. Saw the "sexy" trailer and in hopes of something better, I'll wait for the remake.

I can't understand why everyone loves these books. Most of the readers in my group couldn't stomach the juvenile way of writing and I only got as far as Chapter 2 in the first book.

Still don't understand what all the hoopla is about ... BUT ... with that said and my love of Jamie Dorman ... I might see the movie.

Jamie D is cute, but I'm not interested. I'm sure I'll see it at some point, but it's not on my pay-to-get-a-sitter-then-pay-to-see movies. I'll catch it on Netflix or something.

Wow.....lot of haters out there. I can't wait to see it (as long as it stays true to the book)

I don't see it, and don't plan on seeing the movie either. They can say anything they want, but I can't see these two playing the part. And when I read the books, these were not the faces I saw. SO I will be so into another book by that time, in fact have been for some time, that Fifty has not even crossed my mind in some time. There are some great books out there now and Fifty is not coming out until 2015...REALLY???? that book will be long unwanted by that time.

Seeing Dakota with dark hair makes me have more faith in her as Ana. And I think Jamie is a much better choice for Christian than the first actor chosen. But with that said and even though I actually really liked the books, I probably won't see this in the theater. I'll wait for DVD. There's no way they can stay completely true to the book without it being considered a porno. But even with what they will be able to show, I'd prefer to not watch that in public.

I didnt like the books but, if Mr. Iam Sommerhalder would have been Christian Grey, I would have been first row on premiere night.
Now, I will wait until it comes on regular television

If all anyone got from these books were porno then they missed the whole story completely and I can see why they wouldn't be interested in a movie. When I said "true to the books" it had nothing to do with the sex.

I have a feeling that it's not going to happen...but I wonder if they're gonna put a bit of red in his hair...

Y'all just wait and see. He'll pull it off and this movie will make him super popular among the ladies (I'd say... sexiest man of 2015).
