Gah.

If the movie is half as good as that trailer...

OK, now I *really* can't wait. This has the potential to reset and redeem the franchise the way it should've gone had Ratner not mucked it all up with X3. I'm so excited now. I can't even.

The trailer is fantastic. I still can't stand so many things about the franchise, but the things they have done well have been done really well.

I don't know how this arc went down in the comics, but this trailer is already telling a different story than the 90's cartoon. It makes me frown, but this trailer makes me want to give it a chance. Even if Storm has stupid hair. Don't even get me started.

@BoxyFrown, that was one of my takeaways too--Storm's hair looks stupid. It hasn't looked good in a while, but I hate it here. I'll get over though, I'm sure.

I do like how they're overlapping timelines, etc. This trailer looks epic, but there's a chance this might not be done well what with said overlapping timelines. We'll see!

I do like the trailer. But the plot seems very close to Wolverine and the Xmen plot. Some minor tweeks, but very close. It doesn't matter though, I figured it would work out a similar way.I am sad that Bishop (awful as he looks) doesn't seem to be the time traveler and even worse... if he isn't the time traveler then perhaps we also lose our fav sentinel...NIMROD. But the nerd in me will not overreact and I will be all giddy like everyone else. Totally unrelated info, it suprises me that Spidey 2 and Godzilla decided to release in the same month.

Also @boxy and @jenn. Lets be honest we don't hate the hair, we don't like the person in it. lol. Of course that could just be me, I wish we could've stepped away from her as storm and replaced her with maybe Gina Torres (no idea why no one thought of this). There was talk of maybe replacing her with Nicki Minaj at one point but eh, it is what it is.

@Mr. Green, yeah, Gina Torres would have been a much better casting. I don't mind Halle Berry as Storm, it's just the bad portrayal on top of the bad hair that makes it insufferable.
