Exclusive Cover Reveal: Samantha Young’s Before Jamaica Lane! (+ More!)

Before Jamaica Lane by Samantha YoungToday we're pleased to reveal—for the first time anywhere—the cover for Samantha Young's Before Jamaica Lane, focusing on a new couple, Olivia and Nate, who were introduced in Down London Road (a companion to the originally self-published breakout novel On Dublin Street). Isn't there something delicious about a shy woman opening up to a player—who realizes after getting to know her that he just has to settle down?

Here's the official description:

Despite her outgoing demeanor, Olivia is painfully insecure around the opposite sex—usually, she can’t get up the nerve to approach guys she’s interested in. But moving to Edinburgh has given her a new start, and, after she develops a crush on a sexy postgrad, she decides it’s time to push past her fears and go after what she wants.

Nate Sawyer is a gorgeous player who never commits, but to his close friends, he’s as loyal as they come. So when Olivia turns to him with her relationship woes, he offers to instruct her in the art of flirting and to help her become more sexually confident.

The friendly education in seduction soon grows into an intense and hot romance. But then Nate’s past and commitment issues rear their ugly heads, and Olivia is left brokenhearted. When Nate realizes he’s made the biggest mistake of his life, he will have to work harder than he ever has before to entice his best friend into falling back in love with him—or he may lose her forever….

Before Jamaica Lane will be out on January 7, 2014.

In the meantime, Samantha Young's novella Until Fountain Bride is available now. Check out the cover and description under the jump!

Ellie has been in love with Adam Sutherland for as long as she can remember. What started as a childhood crush on her older brother’s best friend soon bloomed into full-blown infatuation. Unfortunately, it also meant full-blown heartache, as Adam refused to fall for Braden’s little sister.

But it took a crisis to make Adam realize he’s wasted too much time denying his feelings for her. Unwilling to waste a second more, he decided to make Ellie his, no matter the consequences. Now happily settled with the woman he’s pined after for years, he’s about to find out what their ten year courtship was like for her, through the journals she kept during their ups and many downs. And though Adam may have Ellie now, he has no idea how close he came to losing her…

Very pretty cover!

And this is so right up my alley: "...he will have to work harder than he ever has before to entice his best friend into falling back in love with him—or he may lose her forever…." Woo-hoo!

This may seem like an odd question but you know the cover models? Is that digitally made or is that someones actual job? They just have to model being attractive and a bit romantic? What an awesome job. If only I weren't a bit of a troll!

@Isabel OBrien, mostly they're actual cover models. Paul Marron is a famous one right now, Fabio was a big one back in the 1980s and 90s, so yes that IS someone's job.
