H&H Off-Hours #2: These are Our Obsessions, Part 1

You may have caught the first time Team H&H stepped out from behind internet anonymity to discuss the growing sub-genre that is New Adult, or you might not have. Either way, we are back, and this time we are talking about our current obsessions. And if Team H&H is good at anything, it's obsessing. This month we will be splitting up the fun into four parts, so be sure to come back each Monday in March so as not to miss an episode.

In this week's affair (Episode #2, Part 1), we discover what it is that has been keeping community manager Megan Frampton up at night with its awesomeness. You will also discover the identity of everyone's book boyfriends (or girlfriends), find out who has a MASSIVE crush on Viggo Mortenson, and learn who among us thinks he or she is made up of the stuff of hero/heroine legend.

Let us know what you think, and feel free to give us feedback!

-Megan, Heather, Chris, and Jenn at Team H&H

I just want to update--I am on the sixth, and last book, in this series. I should finish today.

@MFrampton -- Wow, lady, you weren't kidding about finishing them ASAP!

I think the important takeaway here is everyone should listen to me the first time I recommend a book instead of waiting years. Heh.

@ChelseaMueller -- Well, you should know that you are the reason I read the Downside series, which I love, though I think I may have fallen a book behind. So see, I really do listen! In this instance it's that I wasn't sure that Vampire Academy would be my thing because, well, I've never been as into vampires.

@ChelseaMueller I have no excuse. I was just an idiot who was late to the party.

@redline_ - It's hard to love vampires the way I love vampires. Kind of like my ASkars obsession appreciation.

@MFrampton - No, you just have a long TBR list. It happens to the best of us.

@ChelseaMueller -- That describes me and my Avengers appreciation to a T, so I feel ya there.

Maybe I should go back and reread Vampire Academy. I skimmed the first one way back when I was on my mission to find books that would prevent my then 15yo from continuing to claim that Twilight was the greatest book ever written. I certainly never read the second book, although I think my daughter may still have those books on her shelf.

@redline - Renner is well worth appreciating.

@juliabroadbooks -- He is, isn't he? Always a pleasure to talk to someone who gets the appeal.

@MFrampton - I am currently obsessing over Vampire Academy too; also on the 6th book. I like to wait until a series is finished (if at all possible) as I am so impatient! I find it easier to wait for YA books though--all the PNR series that I follow I've been with since inception. I will try out LSands though & JFrost, as recommended in a different thread.
