Swooning at North and South: “You don’t need Henry to explain”

Today is the first day back in the office for the Heroes and Heartbreakers staff after a week of being displaced thanks to the big storm. Whew!

So in the spirit of celebrating happy endings, we thought we'd share one of our favorite ones with you.

Welcome back to your office. I love this movie and watch it every Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see RA in The Hobbit

I just love this scene. RA's little crack of a smile gets me everytime.

One of the most romantic moments EVER. I love that miniseries (I think it's time to break it out again!)

Could someone tell me a little bit about this North and South. The only one I know about is the one with Patrick Swayze.

I've watched this ending way too many times. It's just so breathtakingly beautiful! I think that scene is definitely top 5 most romantic film moments ever!

@BrooklynShoeBabe, it is based on Elizabeth Gaskell's book of the same name, takes place in 1851, with the manufacturing North at odds with the more indolent South. It's like a Victorian Pride and Prejudice, and it stars Richard Armitage (GAH!) and it's SO ROMANTIC and I have seen it close to twenty times. Let us know what you think when you see it!

A coma-inducing mini-series culminating in a very romantic scene. It took me years to get to the good part.

@Myretta--you and I are friends, so we must Agree to Disagree on the AWESOMENESS of this miniseries.

One of my favorite scenes. I watched it like 100+ times. Richard Armitage is swoon-worthy in this miniseries. Can't wait to see him in The Hobbit.
