Romance Heroes with Piercings?

H&H's Natasha Carty just let us know about a recent trend in romance: Heroes with piercings. You know, piercings there. Cherrie Lynn's new release Leave Me Breathless, now causing a stir among romance readers, has a tattoo artist as its hero and he's got a piercing in a certain sensitive spot. Lynn's earlier title Rock Me also had a pierced hero. The hero of Lissa Matthews's Simple Need is also pierced, as is  the hero in Ann Jacobs's Controlled By Love. An older m/m title with a pierced hero is Laney Cairo's Bad Case of Loving You.

Is that hot? Or not?

(Thanks to H&H's Twitter friends for all the titles!)

I don't think I'd have an issue with this, only--how does using a condom work then? Wouldn't it get broken by whatever additional is going on down there?

I think I'll have to buy a couple of these to figure out if it's hot or not!

So hot. I love genital piercings, on both men and women. I'm considering getting one myself, but that may be TMI, yeah? ^^

Male genital piercings are meant to ignite new sensations while penetration, for both partners _ and, as far as I'm concerned, they do. Plus, I personnally think they're gorgeous, and there are so many different kind of piercings *sigh*. They can make fellatio more difficult, though.

As to wearing condoms while sporting a piercing, it's not a problem, as long as the condom is large enough to accomodate the size of the piercing. The steele is engeneered and smooth and isn't supposed to rip the condom. Actually, condom use is mandatory during all the healing period after the piercing is done.

Anyway, it really spices it up for me when the hero is pierced down there. In R.L. Mathewson's Tall, Dark and Heartless, the hero has got one, though it isn't specified what kind.
There is also a series, I'm sorry I don't remember the name but I believe the author was Lissa Matthews, where one of the heroes is a tattoo artist and I think he has an apadravya piercing. In Cherrie Lynn's Rock Me, I believe the hero also has an apa.

HOT!! definitely!! I read Cherrie Lynn's Rock Me a few months ago and was blown away! It should come with a warning to keep a large bucket of ice near by. Leave Me Breathless was just as hot!

My ex has PA.... It looks hot, it feels hot. ;)
I wasn't sure at first, but only because I was afraid that it will cause condom to break. So for those who have similar fear, it's ok.

Nope, don't like it. I don't like piercings at all. They always make me hurt when I look at them.

HOT!

FYI - The H&H in Lora Leigh's novella Cooper's Fall are pierced - first time I had read a book where the H&H had genital piercings. And I *really* want to read more where the Hero is pierced ;-)

After seeing this post, I bought Leave Me Breathless and then had to read Rock Me and Unleashed. Loved the stories!

Not a fan of piercings of genetalia. Not even nipples. I have seen them, but never experienced them with one exception. When I was in my early 20's, a regular customer of the bar & grill I worked at had me come in the bathroom, along with a couple of the other waitresses, just to show us her new nipple ring. Umm.. ok? She was in her 40's and just pulled out her breast and showed us her piercing. I was floored. lol Who DOES that? Anyway, I was not impressed, and I'm not impressed by body piercings as a whole. Tattoos I love. Piercings not so much.

Piercings are sexy.
My partner doesn't want to put holes in his body, so I had to get a few myself. ;)

I don't think anything should mar the perfection of a well-endowed penis!

Have read both Rock Me and Leave Me Breathless and I can safely as at that it's totally hot! Also read anything by Jay Crownover, especially Rule, that has a tatted and pierced hero, and he is beyond hot! I recommend, thoroughly...

I've had a Prince Albert piercing ( a ring through the end of the Penis ) for over 20 years and I've never had any complaints from my wife - quite the reverse, in fact. As long as they are done properly, they are a source of pleasure for both partners and while it's possible to wear something with sharp edges which might damage a condom, why would anyone want to do that?

My piercing has stretched over the years and I can wear quite a thick ring in it if I want to, but that's just for my pleasure. Something more conservative is the normal mode of use and it doesn't interfere with any of the obvious bodily functions, or get in the way during oral action.

My favourite female piercings are the nipples ( obvious choice I know ) and the Clitoris ( not the hood ) but not everyone is built for that one.

Anything which attracts attention to the body's most sensitive parts can only be good and if it's a secret between lovers, it works even better.

If you're tempted, try it and if it's not for you, take it out and forget it. That's something you can't do with a Tattoo...
