Earlier this week, the NYPD was pushed into the spotlight when one of its officers while working in Times Square bought shoes for a barefoot homeless man on a particularly chilly night. A tourist took a picture of the good cop and shared it with the NYPD's Facebook page.
So in honor of our boys in blue, we've found a few of our favorite TV cops to celebrate...both in and out of uniform.
