Nightshifted by Cassie AlexanderNightshifted by Cassie Alexander

Nursing school prepared Edie Spence for a lot of things. Burn victims? No problem. Severed limbs? Piece of cake. Vampires? No way in hell. But as the newest nurse on Y4, the secret ward hidden in the bowels of County Hospital, Edie has her hands full with every paranormal patient you can imagine—from vamps and were-things to zombies and beyond…

Edie’s just trying to learn the ropes so she can get through her latest shift unscathed.  But when a vampire servant turns to dust under her watch, all hell breaks loose. Now she’s haunted by the man’s dying words—Save Anna—and before she knows it, she’s on a mission to rescue some poor girl from the undead. Which involves crashing a vampire den, falling for a zombie, and fighting for her soul. Grey’s Anatomy was never like this…

Seduction’s Shift by A. C. ArthurSeduction's Shift by A.C. Arthur

They hide their true nature from the world—part man and part animal—sworn to defend the human race against the untamed beasts among them…

She was his first love, his only love. But trying to rescue his beautiful Ary from captivity is one wild risk no man should take. Luckily, Nick Delgado is no ordinary man. His work in the urban jungle as a high-powered litigator has only fueled his ferocity, enflamed his passion—and sharpened his claws—to protect his mate.

Ary is a born healer who has devoted her life to the tribe—and her heart to Nick. But when the fierce  and sadistic Sabar turns his jaguar eyes upon her, Ary becomes the unwilling pawn in a deadly game of shifting alliances. One man wants to use her talents to enslave humanity. The other wants to free her from their natural enemy. If Nick hopes to save Ary, he must unleash the beast within—and fight for the woman he loves…

The Winter Witch by Paula BrackstonThe Winter Witch by Paula Brackston

In her small early nineteenth century Welsh town, there is no one quite like Morgana.  She hasn't spoken since she was a young girl, and her silence as well as the magic she can't quite control make her a mystery. Concerned for her safety, her mother quickly arranges a marriage with Cai Jenkins, the widower from the far hills who knows nothing of the rumours that swirl around her. After their wedding, Morgana is heartbroken at leaving, but she soon falls in love with Cai’s farm and the rugged mountains that surround it, while slowly Cai himself begins to win her heart. It’s not long, however, before her strangeness begins to be remarked upon in her new village. A dark force is at work there—a person who will stop at nothing to turn the townspeople against Morgana, even at the expense of those closest to her. Forced to defend her home, her love, and herself from all comers, Morgana must learn to harness her power, or she will lose everything.

Handbook for Hot Witches by Dame DarcyHandbook for Hot Witches by Dame Darcy

Combine a graphic novel with a dash of crafts, a sprinkle of feminist fairy tales, and a whole cauldron of spells—voilà!—Dame Darcy's Handbook for Hot Witches. This is the guide for girls who want cool things to do and great friends to do them with, who aren't afraid to be their different, awesome selves. It's a celebration of powerful, creative girls—the sort of girls who may have been called “witches” once, but who, as this book proclaims, are “hot,” because of their talent and their uniqueness. With sections on banjo playing, beauty spells, palm reading, and much more, this fully illustrated handbook will send girls on their way to independence, creativity, and magic.

Honestly, the Lora Leigh Breeds books have the most creative (and bizarre) bedroom tricks. Not a big fan of them, but they are creative!
Cerese Sanborn
2. flowerpower
I'm not really sure how to answer this question, but Big Bad Wolf by Christine Warren has a creative twist to a shifter's mate being claimed. It is the mate-hunt and it involves poor defenseless Missy running through the woods and trying not to get caught by the wrong wolf-man.
Ashley Morris
3. LadyScandal
I also agree that Leigh's Breeds have the creativity down.
Maycee Majors
4. Keeyansmom04
I would have to say I love when the boys of JR Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood get impatient and just "poof" clothes.. Very handy! ;0)

Christine Feehan's Carpathian's can contol nature--the things they command nature to do while seducing their mates is very cool

I'd have to say since this question kinda stumped me but J.R. ward Brotherhood series has some of the best sex scenes I've read for vampires. Their passion is so intense, their movements, unlike humans, is overwhelmingly powerful erocticly decriptive how they describe each others movements and bodies..everything about it is so much more eroctic because their senses are so hightened it makes eveything else seem like it doesn't excist just the 2 vampires and their passion for each other.
Best sex ever. I wouldn't mind being a vampire.

7. Barbed1951
I'm having a hard time thinking of creative variations - the only thing I can think of is vampires drinking blood as they make love and it intensifies both of the couple's feelings and makes them bond - like in Lara Adrian's breed books.
indiangirl12
8. indiangirl12
Yes i think Barbed1951 said it all the bonding thing is cool
Kelly Mayberry
9. Keslynn
I think the most unique I've read is in Yasmine Galenorn's Otherworld Series. Smoky, a dragon who also has a human form, has long hair that he can move around and use in interesting ways.
Kareni
10. Kareni
Sholto, a character in Laurel K Hamilton's Merry Gentry series, can use his tentacles to pleasure his partner.
lisa
11. skipups
so many options but i agree with Keslynn, that Yasmine Galenorn's Smoky and the way he uses his hair is very creative.
Rosalind McGarry
12. kui
I have to concur w/ kareni. Sholto & his rainbow tentacles was the first thing that popped into my mind. Also Tina Folsom has a hero who has 2 "manhoods". That disturbs me more than the tentacles.
Di Hetrick
13. dnlizbeth
I'm thinking the most recently read fantasy-cool sex was where the underwater sex-god-hero used his magic to change his penis size and shape. Wonder why more shape shifters don't do that?
Barbed1951
14. sarac
I have to admit, Laurel K Hamilton's Merry Gentry series scarred me just a bit with all the shenanigans going on there.
Jessica Whitfield
15. firebreathingmoo
I was thinking of Smoky also, but I totally forgot about Sholto...I agree with y'all. That is the weirdest I have read.
Shannon Cooper
16. yeahbuddy3
The speed and agility Spade "exhibited" with Denise in Jeaniene Frost's Kiss of Crimson was both creative and just plain expert. Loved that scene and enjoyed their story as well!
Bridget Horn
17. bridget.c.horn
In Shelly Laurenston's The Main Squeeze... Lock (a bear shifter) has prehensile lips that he uses to great effect during the sexy fun times. ;)
Mary
18. MaryC
I agree with bridget about Lock's prehensile lips.
Jennifer Walter
19. jlc341
Oh yeah! I totally agree with Bridget about Lock's prehensile lips too! That was pretty cool and different.
Krysten Michelsen
20. krysskross
I think the most out there I've read were the Breeds series, as some others have said :)
Tanya Contois
21. tanyac
I love Kalayna Price's Alex Craft series and Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series because they both have such strong characters.
Jasmine Ray
24. JassyBaby
Ooh, I do love the creativity of bedroom sex in the Anita Blake series and the BDB series, but one thing that stands out to me is the Were-Hunters in Sherrilyn Kenyon's series. The whole mating and bonding thing I think, is very creative. Everything about it, from the allotted time to mate, and to the actual act: When they keep their mated-marked palms clasped together the entire time during sex, then recite the Bonding Spell words, and then sink fang into one another and drink each other's blood to combine life forces--giving into their animal instincts. It's definitely hot and creative!
MariaG
25. MariaG
Lora Leigh's Breed men with their extra "trick" are truly memorable.
Nikki Hilton
26. nikkiphilton
Shelley Laurenston's Lock, in The Main Squeeze, has already been mentioned. And he's so cute!

I have to say it's the Lords of Satyr series from Elizabeth Amber, where the Satyrs grow a second penis on the "moonful" nights!
kristina Darrington
29. kdarrin
I have to agree with Yasmine Galenorn's Otherworld Series Smokey and his hair Shoto and his tenticals all are intersting tricks.
Barbed1951
30. Karen H in NC
Since it's not a genre I read, I'm not familiar with some of the 'bedroom tricks' everyone is discussing. That said, I think I'll vote for Keeyansmom04 comment and what she says: "boys of JR Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood get impatient and just "poof" clothes." I agree...very handy indeed!
Rajmeen Kahlon
31. rajgirl
I think the most creative has to be shared pleasure in Lynsay Sands; books.
Barbed1951
32. Melissa B
OMG, I have one for this, although technically it didn't take place in the bed room...at least not the first time.

Oracle's Moon by Thea Harrison...the hero, Khalil, is a genie...he turns to smoke & mist. His first smexy scene w/ Grace, our heroine, IS so hot, and so our of the box tricky I LOVED it!!
If you haven't read it, you need to ~ LOVE the whole series, but the sex scenes are out of the world great!
EA Edgerton
33. elevate4
wow - so much to choose from, so little time. I agree on the Breeds series being out there and Lisa Renee Jones' rodius series....
Irene Menge
34. Goldenmane
Clothes poofing sounds great. Disrobing is generally somewhat awkward (who looks sexy taking off socks?) and certainly slows the momentum. I haven't read about interesting hair, tentacles or second penises, but I suppose I must now. Otherwise my imagination is probably making it stranger than it actually is. At least I hope so.
Maria Smith
35. TexasBookLover
It's hard to pick a favorite because they stand out for different reasons. Here are few favorite series that always have memorable scenes and why:
-Night Huntress - Controlling blood flow to certain areas/pleasure in venom from bite (example Chapter 32)
-BDB - Emmiting Bonding Scent
-Argeneau series - Shared pleasure (complete with passing out)
-Guild Hunters/Night Huntress - Getting it on while flying
Axyl Oblivion
36. PsychoticHatter
I would have to say The Cat Star Chronicles by Cheryl Brooks has some interestingly creative things that occur in the bedroom or anywhere else they get it on. The men have a thing referred to as joy juice (not semen) that is released when they are aroused, it makes women orgasm so that's an interesting tidbit of creativity.
Casey
37. caseroo7
Not sure exactly what to say...but i guess i would say J.R. Wards BDB!! Very creative the tricks they can do with their minds. Poofing clothes off, locking doors, etc. Could come in very handy!!
Amy A
38. antonidis
At least one other person mentioned the sex on the ceiling with Bones...and also the tentacles come in handy when your hands are otherwise occupied. :)
Ashley Clough
39. Lady Ashley
Kresley Cole's werewolves and demons from her Immortals After Dark series. They're so different from the mainstream. The demon's horns can have poison, but are also a weakness. Her werewolves are not hairy, but have wolf-like aspects.
AnnMarie Bozek
40. changes2
I love Laurell K Hamiltons books she is very creative with the interactions between her characters
Kelly Nicholson
41. kelloggss
What's the most creative variation (physical addition? trick? whatever!)

im a werewolf
Heather Rizzuti
42. heatherbartley
Emma Holly's "Demon World" series has a few fascinating things going on in the bedroom. Most of the characters are "yama", a species very similar to humans. This series is even hotter than Kresley Cole's "Immortals After Dark" series, which is hard to believe, but Emma Holly somehow manages to do it!
Ronda McLelland
43. mclelland.r@gmail.com
I got to say that any series from Laurell K. Hamilton has some of the most creative sex scenes in it...however, if I have to choose just one I would go with any of the Merry Gentry series. Frost is my personal favorite.
Eva Millien
44. evampire
Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake and Meredith Gentry. They both can make lots happen in the bedroom and while it may not all be done purposely it usually ends a great thing.
Nancy Luebke
46. nancydl
I can't really say, at lot of times I skip over a lot of that.
Patricia German
47. bluemonday
I have no idea which is most creative, I tend to skim over the sex scenes.
PicardsMom350
48. PicardsMom350
yeah - werehunters poof off the clothes
poof right to the bed
and yeah I remember anita Blake
running thru the woods from Richard & the entire pack

Definitely Shelly Laurenston's Mane Squeeze. That thing Lock MacRyrie can do with his lips, now that was a good thing :)
Ann Sheiring
50. Annwitch
I love JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood. I think the idea behind the females needing is sexy as anything. The idea of a man taking care of a woman's needs for as long as it lasts, wow. They are all great reads and a sexy group of vampires.
angela smith
51. scorpion1169
lora leigh-breeds has some really creative bedroom scenes
Barbed1951

I can't think of anything that hasn't already been mentioned. I'm also a fan of Shelly Laurenston's shapeshifters (especially Lock) and Emma Holly's demons.
Barbed1951
53. sbashaw
The frist thing that came to mind was Lora Leighs breeds - the whole "locking" with your mate, their touch the only one that comforts, the mating bite and mark.
After reading all the commets - I've got a list of books I need to read!!!
Barbed1951
54. LButz2001
A Tawdry Affair where Glory used a magic pen to redesign her body, chain the hero to a bed and lock him in a dungeon.
Paula Wall
55. pwall55
Sunny's Mona Lisa is able to glow like a recharge for her mates, how cool is that.
Angela Gradillas
56. Gradia
Nalini Singh's angels have some interesting tricks; Raphael teaching Elena to "dance" in free fall, for instance. And let's not forget his "special blend" of angel dust he likes to sprinkle over her!
Anna Gabor
57. Nusejka
Bones (from Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series) knows some nice tricks, like using his poisonous bite and doing nasty things with his mind :D
Riley Moreland
58. ramore
With the paranormal, the possibilities are endless. But I like it simple. When the talent is empathy and the partners can each sense what the other is experiencing, well, just imagine how good they can make each other feel!
Jennifer McIntosh
59. mystryder
Revenge in the BDB with his barbed penis shocked me. However all the BDB have intense sex.
Leah Stephenson
60. RiotGrrlCynic
Poofing clothes is always fun. Controling of anatomy size is another one I thought was cool.
Sean Holland

Having not read any of them yet . . . But I am sure they are filling with exciting and shocking things.

I a huge fan of wolf shifter claimings :) I know in Shelly Laurenston's book she has some really amazing claimings! I think my favorite was when Smitty chased his mate throught he forest and then claimed her on a rock!
Vilmarys Collado

I'd have to say Kresley Cole has some memorable tricks in the earlier books of IAD series. I also love the bonding scent and the way they can will lights on/off in BDB.
Anne Muller
68. amuller38
Not sure this was necessarily a positive, but there's a satyr series, the author's anme escapes me, where they have an extra penis.

I like the Breed series where they are mated with a taste.
Anne Clark

I am having to go with Laurell K. Hamilton's Merry Gentry series. There is some weirdness going on there.
Joanna Hernandez

i love lora leigh's breed physical additions or nalini singh's guild hunter series: angel glittery aphrodisiac and yummy vampire scent.

I also agree that Leigh's Breeds have the creativity down.
Suzann Schmid
75. Suzann9112
Has to be Laurell K Hamilton in her Merry Gentry series. Fairies and different appearances make for some strange sex scenes.

I've always been a big fan of Kyrian and Amanda's psychic connection in Night Embrace. I can only imagine how much more awesome the sex would be if you felt your partner's pleasure as well as yours.

Sorry for the blank response. I seem to remember a scene in Once Burned where they were flying & got busy, sounds pretty amazing to me! And if I'm wrong, well I hope someone writes it soon!

Lora Leigh's Breeds and Laurel K. Hamilton's shifters and vamps are creative, but Dark Hunters/Dream Hunters are my favorites!
Trianna Hyde
85. fire_dragon31
Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series i think has creative love scenes not just with Cat & Bones but the other characters are involved as well.
