Kresley Cole Announces Next Title in Immortals After Dark Series: MacRieve!

Shadow’s Claim: The Dacians by Kresley ColeKresley Cole has announced the title of her next Immortals After Dark book, coming in May 2013: MacRieve. 

There’s no word on if this is a new member of the MacRieve family, or precisely who will be in the book, but at least we have a title and a date.

In the meantime, we have a couple other releases to look forward to. Cole’s first Dacians novel, Shadow’s Claim, will be out on November 27, 2012, while her first YA, Poison Princess, will be out on October 2—look for a post on that tomorrow!

Ugh!!! So angry -- seeing red!!! I have been waiting for Lanthe and Thronos's story since Kiss of a Demon King was released in 2009. Guess I can only hope for 2014. Bah!!

Cole said on her Facebook that it's Uilliam's story. She said he fits into the Accession storyline better and that Lanthe, Nix and Furie would still get books. :-)

I'm surprised by this announcement, but still pleased because hello no matter whose book it is, it's gonna rock. - I was convinced Furie would be next.

It will be interesting to see how this very minor and background character, Uilleam, will advance the Accession storyline. That storyline has been languishing for the most part, while the same events have been re-told from different viewpoints with different couples in the last few books. The whole thing has been treading water, and major characters such as Annika are MIA. Does Kresley Cole's editor get writing credits as well? She seems to be dictating the course of the series. It's really time to move this series and storyline along. Color me disappointed.

I'm ready to move along with the Thronos story as well. Although cant wait for more Ofthe Dacian story line too! It's a toss up!
