The cover of Marissa Meyer’s Scarlet, the sequel to Cinder and the second book in the Lunar Chronicles quartet, has been revealed by USA Today. They’ve also got some scoop on the book, including an interview with Marissa and an excerpt from Scarlet, which is due out in early 2013.

Marissa Meyer reimagined Cinderella as a teenage cyborg mechanic in her debut novel Cinder earlier this year, and with her new follow-up Scarlet, Little Red Riding Hood is a firebrand from France.
