I know, I know, you probably don’t exactly think Heroes & Heartbreakers when you see a trailer for a movie called The Gangster Squad. Then again, there are at least two really good H&H-approved reasons to bring this to your attention: Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Together again! (Is that three reasons?...)
And if their Crazy Stupid Love characters’s relationship was a little complicated (and, oh, did I enjoy that), sounds like that’s child’s play compared to the forbidden-love angle Stone and Gosling will be playing up in The Gangster Squad as Prohibition-era lovers Grace Faraday and Sgt. Jerry Wooters.
