Poison Princess by Kresley ColeWhen we reported news a few weeks back that Kresley Cole would be releasing a YA novel, Poison Princess, the first in a new series called The Arcana Chronicles, we had no idea that a cover reveal would follow so closely. And yet, here we are: MTV’s Hollywood Crush has just posted the cover, more details about the book, and a link to an excerpt.

Be sure to check it out, and then do let us know what you think!

The cover is definitely eye-catching, not really to my personal taste but I've no doubt it will appeal to many YA custumers :)

As for the storyplot, hum, I'm quite torn. One the one hand, the story of this "Poison Princess" doesn't interest me much _ I could quote half a dozen YA books dealing with a hero having visions of an apocalyptic future. On the other hand, the plot revolving around the Major Arcana of Tarot being teenagers sounds promising. I shall give it a try, given that it's Kresley Cole, and see how things go :-)

Cole became a must buy author for me several years ago. I have found that all her books are fun to read so I try to get them as soon as they come out.

Kresley Cole has long been an auto buy for me. As a matter of fact it was her IAD series which turned me on to the paranormal genre. Now anything else just seems so bland to me. I look forward to reading all of her stories. However, I sincerely hope that she will continue on with her wonderful IAD series. I know that she also is starting a new spin-off of that series starting this fall. I am highly anticipating the new series which is a spin-off that started during her last book, "Lothaire". As always Ms. Cole does exceptional work . I look forward to reading all of her books. Just please, please ,please do not end the IAD series!
