Dear Santa,
Hi, Santa. It’s Chelsea. I’m pretty sure you and I are on the same wavelength and agree that reading very sexy books should not put one on the naughty list. In fact, recommending quality reads to my book-loving friends should bolster my nice-ness. Right?
As such, I’m sending over my wishlist. I’m anxiously awaiting so many new books and fret over what may come in them. Please take my suggestions to heart and then use some Christmas magic to tinker with plotlines as needed. Thank you. Also, I will make you extra yummy cookies.
I want…
…a bit of domestic bliss for a junkie and her enforcer in Stacia Kane’s Sacrificial Magic (release date 3/27/12). Or another tunnel scene. Whatever. I just need more Terrible.
…the bad guy to get a chance at love, but without losing his fangs, in Kresley Cole’s Lothaire (releases 1/10/12).
…Tohr’s HEA. (And to have J.R. Ward’s Lover Reborn in my hands before the March 27, 2012, release date.)
…to see what a mini unicorn would do after downing a case of Natty Light. This likely will not happen in Allison Pang’s A Sliver of Shadows (releases 2/28/12), but a girl can wish.
…some Once Burned (releases 6/16/12) teasers. I’m ready for Vlad’s story, and a snippet or two would go a long way, Santa/Jeaniene Frost.
…Calla not to go back to Ren in Andrea Cremer’s Bloodrose (releases 1/3/12). I have no idea what she’s doing to do, but it is a real fear. Please intervene, Santa. (I’m alone in loving Shay. I know it.)
…Eugenie to have little red-headed babies. It’s OK if this occurs in the epilogue of Richelle Mead’s Shadow Heir (release 12/27/11). It’s fine if it happens years in the future, but I want those babies.
…to see Rachel Morgan flex a bit of demon muscle in Kim Harrison’s A Perfect Blood (releases 2/21/12).
…a pure atom bomb explosion when Paris and Sienna collide in Gena Showalter’s The Darkest Seduction (releases 2/21/12). When two people possessed by promiscuity and wrath demons, respectively, share a bed, I expect explosions.
...a vampire hot-boy-with-sword in Julie Kagawa’s The Immortal Rules (releases 4/24/12). The woman who gave us the Iron Fey series’s Prince Ash is shifting gears and taking on the fanged. I want the vampiric version of Ice Boy.
Thanks for taking the time, Santa. Now that I think about it, how about two kinds of cookies. (That’s not a bribe, is it?)
Ho Ho Ho from the Nice List,
Chelsea
PS. Please take into consideration the plot and reading requests of my friends in the comments section below. They’re all good. Swear.

While Chelsea Mueller runs Vampire Book Club, she won’t turn down a sexy werewolf, demon or faerie. (Her husband often reminds her that she’s taken.)
