Every July, 125,000+ people attend San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), which is billed as the largest comic-book convention in the world but which also attracts an insane amount of Hollywood stars. Movie and television screenings, panels, and autograph signings are all held at the convention, and it is from SDCC that lots of delicious tidbits about upcoming projects get released to the media. Yum.
I’ll be there this year for the first time (yay!) and have quite the to-see list already—I haven’t even looked at the official schedule yet! Here’s what I have so far:
1. Katee Sackhoff and Nathan Fillion (two of my favorites)
2. Game of Thrones / A Song of Ice and Fire
3. The Vampire Diaries (fingers crossed for some spoilers! Entertainment Weekly has already reported there’ll be more Tyler/Caroline next season—can’t wait!)
4. Cowboys & Aliens (if I can get into the screening, that is)
5. True Blood
6. Ringer (Sarah Michelle Gellar’s new show) and other Fall 2011 pilots
7. Sherrilyn Kenyon
Etcetera etcetera.
