Variety reports that Emma Stone has been offered the role of Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. She’d replace Natalie Portman, who is staying on as a producer, but likely has other things on her mind (namely, her new-born son).
Intriguingly enough, Stone was recently seen in Zombieland; is she carving out a niche among the brain-eating undead?
Once that role is cast, attention will be turned to the casting of Mr. Darcy; the two actors most mentioned are James McAvoy and Bradley Cooper. Thoughts?
