BBC, AKA the Bamber Broadcasting Corporation?!

Because we do love our British hotties (and this one in particular) here at H&H...

You wouldn’t have thought BBC America could top the ad they released last week in honor of their premiere of Battlestar Galactica, which revolved around the secretly British Jamie Bamber, star of not one but three BBCA programs (BSG, Law and Order: UK, and Outcasts).

But then, today, came this piece of brilliance:

(Thanks to LiveJournal’s bamber_news and Tara Gelsomino for the heads-up!)

Effective marketing there, no? Megan Frampton has already succumbed thanks in part to a rather slick series trailer and shared her first impressions of the Battlestar Galactica miniseries. (Personally, I can’t wait until she graduates to the series proper and can weigh in on Tara Gelsomino’s Nobody Told Me BSG was a Romance, because this show’s got some EPIC love stories going for it.)

I love Jamie Bamber! I first discovered him on BSG and I've been following him ever since.

@Cassandra Carr -- Same here! Had no idea he was British until I finished watching Season 2 and saw a behind-the-scenes extra on the DVDs. I already loved Lee but after that I was head over heels for Jamie as well. THAT ACCENT! Plus, he speaks French. I mean...you just can't top that.

Every time he says "thank you" I shout "NO thank you " in my head. I really love when he uses his true accent in his roles.

Oh Jamie Baber .. I finally realize why I liked you so much as a fat man, because I didnt have to stare at your ridiculously squared jaw line... you could poke an eye out with that thing!!

@sk1336 -- His true accent is the BEST. But I am pretty impressed by his American accent. There are only a few words he sometimes can't get right--like "been." But overall he has an amazing ear for accents, imo.

@Streanor -- First of all, eeeeee!!!! We miss you! I was literally JUST talking about you today. Second, you say that like it's a bad thing! That jaw is a thing of breathtaking beauty. I could stare at it for hours... Not that I have, or anything.
