A Dangerous Method: Early 20th Century Bromance?

It’s a scary proposition when Sigmund Freud seems like the reasonable one in the group. But that’s what the trailer for the upcoming David Cronenberg film, A Dangerous Method, seems to indicate.

Keira Knightley—annoying to many of you, thanks to her Elizabeth Bennet portrayal in Pride and Prejudice—seems like she’s stretching her acting chops here, not just relying on her enormous horse-toothed smile and sparkly eyes. And the rest of the cast, whoa: Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, Vincent Cassel. Sure, Mortensen and Fassbender have unfortunate facial hair here, but the acting these three bring to the screen is incredible.

Plus we like how Freud and Jung have that whole bromance thing going on.
