Deeper Than Need by Shiloh Walker

Time heals all wounds.

Eager to put a dark, troubled past behind her, Trinity Ewing buys an old house that will make the perfect refuge for her and her young son once renovations are complete. The last thing on her mind is finding someone new…but the contractor she’s hired is an irresistible distraction—and Trinity can’t help but fantasize about all the business they could be doing behind closed doors.

So does one man’s touch.

Noah Benningfield thought he’d put his demons behind him. But the moment he lays eyes on Trinity, the temptation he feels is too powerful to deny. Soon the attraction between them explodes into something neither of them could have imagined. But their desire will be put to the test when a shocking local murder has them dodging danger at every turn. CHAPTER 1

Noah Benningfield was a man who understood temptation.

That’s all there was to it.

He’d spent a good seven years all but stuck inside a bottle, and when he wasn’t stuck inside a bottle he’d been happily trapped inside a woman.

Sometimes he’d done both. No, often he’d done both.

Author Shiloh Walker on the Best Romantic Suspense

Stolen by Shiloh WalkerAuthor Shiloh Walker is no stranger herself to combining tension and romance in a delicious, heart-stopping book. Her latest release, Stolen, has a heroine who's all but become a hermit thanks to a stalking episode earlier in her life. When she's stalked again, the heroine has to turn to her ex for help. And you know where that leads! Shiloh is here to share her favorites in romantic suspense. Thanks, Shiloh!

I See You by Holly Lisle

Spooky. This woman can do a spooky romantic suspense like nobody else.

The blurb:

For paramedic Dia Courvant, each day brings the possibility of facing blood and death. But nothing matched the horror of the day she was dispatched to the scene of a terrible car accident and rescued the sole survivor—only to find her own husband dead in the wreckage. Now, four years later, a series of deadly car crashes has brought handsome detective Brig Hafferty into Dia's life. She's drawn to Brig, but can she trust him enough to tell him of the terror that stalks her? For Dia has received a message warning her of danger and death—a message that seems to have been sent to her from beyond the grave.

This is a book that I actually got goosebumps reading. I usually don’t get freaked out reading romantic suspense very often, but this one got me, more than once. There’s this one scene while the heroine was in the shower…well. It was freaky. It was scary. I read it with my heart in my throat. The heroine is a paramedic-four years earlier, she’d worked a wreck where her husband was one of the victims, and he didn’t survive. Now she’s dealing with a stalker and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This is a very creepy, but very sexy book.
