The Ones Who Got Away by Roni Loren

There's nothing better than discovering the next book from one of your favorite authors—what's even better is when you can get a sneak peek at that book far in advance! Today we have it all with the exclusive cover reveal of Roni Loren's The Ones Who Got Away and a chance to start reading it now with an excerpt of the first three chapters!

Learn more about the book here:

Twelve years ago, tragedy struck the senior class of Long Acre High School. Only a small number of students survived, a group the media dubbed as The Ones Who Got Away.

Now, web designer Liv Arias, along with the rest of the survivors, have returned to the small Texas town to tell their stories for a documentary. Which means Liv seeing former star-athlete and old flame Finn Dorsey. A lot happened between them that night and Liv is ready to end their decade-long riff and move on. But when her attempt at closure turns into a steamy kiss, moving on proves much more difficult than either of them thought...

Liv's words cut off as Finn got closer. The man approaching was nothing like the boy she'd known. The bulky football muscles had streamlined into a harder, leaner package. The smooth face was now dusted with scruff, and the look in his deep green eyes held no trace of boyish innocence. A thousand things were in those eyes. A thousand things welled up in Liv.

If that description had you saying “I need this now!” then you're in luck! We have the first three chapters right here for you to read right away!

Emotionally Satisfying Ménage Romance: Beyond Hot Guy #2, Enter Stage Left

Loving You Easy by Roni Loren

Today we're absolutely excited to welcome Roni Loren (Loving You Easy) to Heroes and Heartbreakers. Roni has written not one... not two... but three (we see the irony in that number) polyamorous romances in her career as an erotic romance writer, so you could say she's a bit of an expert at... juggling... so many hearts and parts. Roni is here to discuss how you get from erotic to emotionally satisfying relationships. Thanks, Roni!

One of the things I love most about the erotic romance genre is that there aren’t a lot of boundaries. We can break rules, flout conventions, explore fantasies, and generally just run loose on the playground with our ideas. As a writer and reader, that has always appealed to my rebellious side and is probably what drew me to erotic romance in the first place.

For instance, why does a romance have to be between just two people? Why not three? That’s a question that’s stirred up story ideas for me many times. There’s something about that complicated mix that isn’t just steamy but emotionally satisfying when it’s done well. Because there’s a lot to sacrifice in that kind of unconventional relationship—dealing with their family’s opinion, society’s, negotiating children/parenting, trusting the other two people not to go off and leave you, handling the extra layer of jealousy that’s bound to arise. They have to really want it and work hard for that HEA. I love digging into all that.

Loving You Easy: Exclusive Excerpt

Roni Loren

Loving You Easy (Loving on the Edge Series #9) by Roni Loren

Cora has an amazing sex life. She’s beautiful, daring, and the most popular submissive in Hayven. Too bad none of it’s real...

IT specialist Cora Benning has figured out the key to her formerly disastrous love life—make it virtual. In the online world of Hayven, she’s free of her geek girl image and can indulge her most private fantasies with a sexy, mysterious master without anyone in her life discovering her secrets. Until her information is hacked and she finds herself working to fix the breach under two very powerful men—one who seems all too familiar...

Best friends and business partners Ren Muroya and Hayes Fox were once revered dominants. Then Hayes was wrongfully sent to prison and everything changed. Ren wants to get back to who they were. Hayes can’t risk it. But when they discover the new IT specialist is their online fascination, and that she’s never felt a dominant’s touch, the temptation to turn virtual into reality becomes all too great…

Cora inhaled through her nose, trying to calm herself. She should be okay. The party was crowded and blending in shouldn’t be a problem.

She moved through the main part of the room, grabbing a glass of wine off a passing waiter’s tray and scanning faces for Grace. Usually her friend was hard to miss, but Cora didn’t see her blond head anywhere. Dammit.

She spotted a table in the farthest spot from the hallway. Two women were sitting there, but there was a chair free. She headed that way and retrieved her phone from her purse so she could text Grace.
