You Could Get Published by Heroes and Heartbreakers!

Submitting to us could have a very pleasurable result.

We are currently accepting submissions to our original romance story program. Please take a moment to review our submissions guidelines, and send us your romance stories for consideration!

As you'll see in the guidelines, we are looking for great stories in all romance subgenres (erotica, paranormal, historical, contemporary, romantic suspense, etc.) as well as the New Adult genre.

Look for an announcement soon about H&H's next short story, which will be published on the site in December (!!!). And in the meantime, you can always check out our past stories, including Darynda Jones' For I Have Sinned, Kitty French's Wanderlust, and Stacia Kane's Home and Close to You, which are all for sale as e-books at stores like Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.

H&H Is on YouTube!

Another day, another way to follow H&H—we're now on YouTube! Subscribe to the HeroesnHearts channel to catch weekly Debriefings in which Team H&H's Heather, Megan, and/or Jenn discuss what's hot in romance.

Today we chatted roundtable-style about our latest favorite topic: Outlander. Each of us has a slightly different take on the first episode, but all of us are really psyched about the show and have Strong Opinions about some recent articles in the mainstream media about it.

We know you're passionate too, so please do share your Outlander thoughts in the comments!

Crushing Hard: A Sneak Peek at Swoon Reads

Heroes and Heartbreakers will soon be welcoming a new sister site, Swoon Reads, which is a YA romance community (check out the blog here) AND publishing imprint. But first, H&H readers have the chance to check out the site while it's in beta—before its official launch!

Here's more about Swoon:

Swoon Reads is a teen romance imprint publishing under Feiwel and Friends, an imprint of Macmillan.

Swoon Reads is dedicated to publishing books that capture the intensity of teen love. More than an imprint, Swoon Reads is a community – one whose members are included in every step of the publishing process. We open the doors for writers and readers to discover the best, most Swoon-worthy teen romance novels and make their voices heard. Together, we publish love stories you will want to read over and over again.

Swoon has something for both YA readers and authors: registered site members can upload manuscripts as well as read and rate manuscripts. The highest-rated stories will be reviewed by Swoon's editorial board for possible publication.

Sounds cool, right? To learn more, visit SwoonReads.com, and be sure to send the Swoon team any feedback you have to help with launch!

Like Christmas in August: 12 Holiday Novellas Coming Soon! (Exclusive Cover Reveals!)

One Hot Scot by Suzanne EnochLast month, we announced that H&H will be publishing two holiday-themed original stories—Stacia Kane's Close to You and Kitty French's Wanderlust—and that they are part of a larger holiday program. Well, now we can officially reveal that between Heroes and Heartbreakers and St. Martin's Press, there are actually TWELVE original e-books (including a previously published fan-favorite story from Francis Ray) coming out this fall from authors you love!

It's true: Suzanne Enoch, Sugar Jamison, Stacia Kane, Elizabeth Essex, Cat Devon, Zoë Archer, Beth Ciotta, Diane Kelly, Valerie Bowman, Donna Grant, and Kitty French have all written the most delightful holiday novellas for the program, and we can't wait for you to fall in love with them just as we have.

Today, Heroes and Heartbreakers is pleased to share the covers and descriptions for all 12 of these very special stories:

Suzanne Enoch's One Hot Scot: A Scandalous Highlanders Story (October 1, 2013)

“One Hot Scot” is a special holiday story from Suzanne Enoch!

While attending her aunt's wedding in Inverness, Julia Prentiss is literally swept off her feet by a man who kidnaps her for her fortune. Julia manages to escape from his estate in the Highlands, only to find herself alone, lost, and hunted in a strange land. When she stumbles across a naked man in a lake, she thinks her luck has gone from bad to worse…or has it?

Duncan Lenox lives surrounded by enemies, a MacLawry in a land of Campbells. With three sisters at home who rely on him, he's become a very cautious man. But when an auburn-haired English beauty has nowhere else to turn, he feels obligated to help. When the two are forced to spend the night in an abandoned cottage while a storm rages and enemies circle, they find a mutual passion that could save — or doom — them both.
